I finally got around to watching the Chaika finale. I might not have been paying attention, so this might be a stupid question. Why was it called "Avenging Battle"? What were they avenging?

Everything else is mixed resolutions that goes from anything between 720p to 966p or shit like that. 99% of all bluray anime releases are upscaled to 1080p, and I'm pretty sure at least 50% of those are upscaled from 720p. Finished Chaika, fun fun fun. The latest Log Horizon has been released just now, this episode looks hype as fuck. And KyoAni movies, and probably some of their newest shows too. P.A. Works also does everything in 1080p.

[sp]Most everything was wrapped up at the end of Chaika, the only thing left open-ended was the romance but Chaika's not a romance series to begin with. The only prior mention of it was when mc was hallucinating, and that was a comedy sequence[/sp]

Poster for the new Digimon series finally released, with designs by the guy who I only know as doing Tsuritama, that fishing anime. Lotta high school going on here. Somebody suggested Persona with Digimon and from the very little shown so far that seems most likely. I have no clue what this show is going to do with itself. Also Latifah's VA is literally whispering. She is not putting on a voice, she is just whispering very loudly. It's really annoying.

Saying a bunch of rogue bandits/sabatours with a dragoon took them down, as well as a gundo that killed a floating fortress and controlled satellites; probably would fuck things up further. I imagine they got some large sum of money from the 7 nations in regards to keep quite about the whole thing, which makes sense if we see Akari writing a novel and Toru just walking with chaika[/sp] It could also be said the same for red and her team. [/sp][/QUOTE] [sp] Niva was burnt out from the power out put, hell Chiaka was just about dead after that (hence the bed and trouble walking parts). The most logical/implied reason is because Chaika was the original chaika: This is supported because 1. Niva only came online when White Chaika entered the room, only activated fully after tasting chaika's blood from that finger cut thing 2. Most of the 7 knights whom slayed gaz all said they cut off her head or saw her die 3. Vivid memories that no one else has of Gaz's Chaika being slayed Niva turned because she couldn't betray the person she was designed around or her true "master". It could have been made a bit more clear but with a season that was 10 eps instead of 13 I think it implied it well[/sp]

Boy, that Chaika ending sure was anime-original. I guess they did the best job they could with what little time they had.
