But yeah, the dub isn't [I]stellar,[/I] but it's still slightly better than the average kids anime dub. It's certainly bearable enough to enjoy.

I started watching Death Note (great show so far).

In episode 5, near the middle, when [sp]Raye is dying[/sp], Light turns around and looks at him and says "Farewell, Raye Penber". When he says this, the train doors are closing in slow-motion.
Which means he was saying it really fast.
And I find that hilarious.

Terrible ending for a terrible sequel. Finally managed to explore a concept that wasn't fucking stupid, but because the writing is atrociously shit and the characters are emotionally equivalent to pebbles, it just doesn't work.

I may further elaborate (like Garlickeh did) just why PP2 is a load of fucking wank later, but for now this will do.

"Production issues" doesn't seem to have been a joke, some of the animation was a bit dodgy. Also a rather unusual place to end, but the post-credits scene basically all but confirms a second season (to not actually make a second season after showing that would be fucking stupid).

After the initial 3 episodes and the hilariously off kilter censoring, this quickly repaired itself into a very good adaptation with only a few changes to placement of certain scenes. It's just a shame that the OVA only did this for the second episode, and the first episode was the biggest pile of wank ever.

A dull ending to an otherwise rather ok show. There really isn't much else to note. It just fell flat.
