I really hate Space Dandy for putting so much focus on Boobies when there is this whole beautiful explosion of alien races, planets and ways of life being explored in it's episodes.

The first three episodes are the worst part of the show.
I don't remember any fart jokes though. And most of that stuff you're complaining about really petered out in the second season. Other than the musical episode as a stand-out example that immediately comes to mind.

Mushishi S2 Part2 final episode (I hate split up seasons for this) was one of the best episodes.
Glad to see they'll make a theatrical release for summer, at least one more Mushishi story to look forward to.
Overall I found S2, especially part 2, to be disappointing, relatively speaking. I mean, it's overall great, but in comparision to the first season it just doesn't have that same consistent quality to it, some of the stories just weren't that interesting.
I think part of it just has to do with getting used to the universe, the mushi and whatnot, and especially getting fucking tired of the same goddamn childrens voice actors, they've got these two voices just constantly being used if there is a kid in an episode, couple that with the art style that depicts most people as looking pretty much the same and it's literally like watching the same fucking kid appearing in all sorts of different situations across the series.
It's nitpicky though, but it can really wear you down over time.
8/10 for this part.

Yeah they really give the audience the wrong idea about the show.
Not fart jokes, just immature humor allround (focus on boobs and ass).
Also I wasn't saying Space Dandy was a bad show for it, I said I hate how Space Dandy puts so much focus on it, hinting hard at the marketing part given the contents of the quote.
Space Dandy was a show that got stronger and stronger as it went along, and I've been noticing a trend in that my favourite parts of comedies seem to be when they're serious, however brief it may be. All of the best Dandy episodes were the ones that were mostly serious.
