I was going to attempt to make a joke associating the origin of lactose intolerance with scandinavia and waifus, however upon going to wikipedia in order to discern the time and location that the gene originated I infact found out that lactose intolerance is not directly related to a particular group of northern european peoples like I had believed, but infact the mutations for lactose intolerance have happened within most ethnicities and therefore not the direct product of scandinavian genetic mutation.

milk sucks anyway just drink liquified moe instead
I have just finished both Akame and The Legend of Korra and i gotta say, i feel empty. Akame and its ending ... Man.
A bit of context, in school I remember reading a passage on how northern europeans had been among the first to domesticate yaks and drink their milk and after a while they developed the gene for lactose intolerance.
American Schooling System: Let's watch Bill Nye and learn about how europeans sucked cow tits.

So I watched Redline as per the recommendation in the OP.
It was fucking amazing, is there anything else like it?

No not really that I know of. You should give Paprika a go though, if you're looking for awesome animation and a good soundtrack. It's not about racing tho.
So I haven't played Grisaia, but here's my guess before reading earlier spoilers, and hell even after it doesn't change any of this guess, of what happens next episode:
[sp]The creepy dude was her old teacher, and he lived. He's still trying to kill her for seeing him fuck the president. He shows up as they find Kazuki's box and Yuuji kills the fuck out of him. Then I think there's going to be some kind of direct, definitive indication that Kazuki's alive at the end of the next EP, regardless of if they actually meet her or not.[/sp]

LOGH would probably be there if it aired in the last three seasons and was a slice of life about moe schoolgirls in a club
wow jsut like barcode kanojo
Barcode kanojo was shut down this month. Rip.
LOGH is getting that remake so it'll be in the Sci-fi category next year.

The episode count is a bit daunting for some (and thus is subject to being on people's backlogs for a while), and a lot of people don't like to watch pre-2000 anime that aren't movies for some reason.
I would've have voted for it but I didn't start watching it until the OP poll was over.

oh dear it's the same studio who did Eroge the Eroge.

Damn I loved Steins;Gate when I first watched it.
Still a great show.

Oh God, Ookami Shoujo ended with [sp]a cheesy, trashy shoujo line. "You have the real thing right here." Fuck you, Kyouya.[/sp]
That series definitely got better over time.

A lot of pre-2000 anime that isn't movies has awful animation that's why
Also the grainyness and darkness of colors in cel is honestly off putting if you get your start in digital animu
[editline]22nd December 2014[/editline]
like if you wanna figure out why some people aren't really into old anime just watch the middle 30 episodes of Gundam Zeta

Disclaimer: I'm confirmed shit taste because my first animes were literally
K-On -> Shakugan no Shana -> Zero no Tsukaima -> Lucky Star
Currently on a re-watch marathon of Durarara and boy it's still good.
I wish Erika and Walker had more screen time since they're practically the Isaac and Miria of the show but HEY we got season 2 for that now

You think that's bad? Here's mine:
Magipoka, 3 episodes of Haruhi then dropped it, took a 3 year break, then Upotte!!, C3-bu, So Ra No Wo To, and K-On! in the span of about a week.

Mine was Dragonball Z. I remember I started watching it for the first time when I was like 4 years old.

Well I put it there because it's true, it was like the 3rd/4th anime I watched, and it's still my favourite. It was damned good.
How are you even still watching anime if you started on upotte and c3-bu 4real though
I like watching low-7s on MAL but those two were really pushing it
It's the reason my taste is so shit. I have a terminal case of moeblob ecchi-itis.
Also I like guns, and I like girls, and both of those fit that niche. It's why I enjoyed GuP so much too, cute girls driving cute tanks and shooting at each other. I started watching Sabagebu for the girls and guns, and stayed because Momoka-sama was the best MC of the season and the show was hilarious.
Cross Ange: holy shit
[sp]suddenly suffering
Although it would be nice if the eyecatch hadn't spoiled the plot in like the first or second episode.
seriously who made that fucking eyecatch and thought it was a good idea
And Julio's second in command / mama being a dragon doesn't really make much sense now.
Not that this anime makes much sense in the first place.
for instance
who the fuck names their child "embryo"
is that why he's such an asshole[/sp]
