As i said, it was like watching a book. It was just the characters narrating the story to me. I've also seen the shaft head tilt so much I started to attempt to imitate it myself.

I just realized, Polnareff becomes really incompetent after (Stardust Crusaders part 1 spoilers) [sp]Dio's brain bud thing is removed. There's a scene where he is trapped in a room however there are metal bars covering a window. I'm sure he could use his stand to break it[/sp]

for example Tsuki [sp]is listed as having just one and it's still going to be a multi-episode special like Hana

He suffers from two things: the first is RPG Boss Party Member Syndrome, in which any character you have to fight in an RPG that later joins your party takes a massive HP and strength reduction, and usually loses half of their moves and abilities.
The second thing he suffers from is Heroic Powerset Syndrome: in which it is very obvious which powers are built for a single encounter with a villain, and which ones are balanced for continuous use by a hero. Jojo doesn't have it nearly as much in later parts, but in Stardust Crusaders there's a very obvious "stand powers for good guys, stand powers for bad guys" distinction, which is why his powers become far less versatile after he joins the party.
