Also how do I "get something out of" buying a BD in comparision to paying for a subscription?
Both give me access to watching anime, but one of them is severly limited to one specific anime instead of hundreds.

well that's madan 'no-i'm-not-gonna-bother-typing-it-out-every-damn-time-and-thank-god-I-never-have-to-anymore' vanadis finished. Not much to say about finale, [sp]mc got powerblocked hard at the last damn second[/sp]. As a whole it was surprisingly decent, and I really liked the strategic map stuff they had going on. Fanservice wasn't too overwhelming to deal with like I feared.

with the bd's you can directly give your support to the actual publishers of anime, and laser discs for anime are readily available so theres no real reason to actually pay for a sub to cr
