How the fuck did they fuck up symphogear so badly, I probably don't even want to watch the second season now. [sp] HOW DO YOU GO FROM THIS? http://ocanimeblog.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/senki-zessho-symphogear-01-i.jpg TO THIS? http://puu.sh/dX48F/db8174bdfa.jpg IT MAKES NO SENSE[/sp]
are you implying that symphogear was ever good?
I don't know what you expected going into Symphogear.

are you implying that symphogear was ever good?
Truth be told I dropped it in the past, but only because I got side tracked, but always had a means to finish it, I swear the first episode was like HOLY SHIT AW YEAH OH MY GOD and then it can't determine what was most important to it as a show. Is it the magical girls fighting aliens in mechsuits? Is it the dark backstories the characters struggle with? Is the show trying to say something profound about the human condition, or does it just want to play with past and current mythology?
So, what anime are we hyped for in 2015?
More cross ange
I watched the first Kara no Kyoukai movie and well.... What did I even watch?
Rolling Girls has a premise released now? Time to take a look.
Ten years after the Great Tokyo War, each prefecture in Japan has split up into independent nations. Each nation is ruled by a prophet called "Mosa" and an army called "Mob" as they start to compete to take over other countries. Four "Mob" girls from the Saitama clan, Nozomi, Yukina, Ai, and Chiaya, are ordered by their "Mosa" to travel around Japan riding their motorcycles to mediate multiple battles between nations and clans as they emerge.
Sure, I can get behind a premise like that. Sounds fun.
I watched the first Kara no Kyoukai movie and well.... What did I even watch?
The first four movies aren't in chronological order, but it'll all make sense after you finish the fourth
They really outdid themselves with Tsuki. I finally got to watch it and everything about it was fantastic.
would recommend everything other than anorexia which was shit unless you have a thing for cannibals, shitty tsundere and rushed endings
So basically the Tokyo Ghoul anime.
haha this reminds me last week i was out with a friend (yes i have two friends and yes i have left my home like three times in the past few months) and there was a comicbook store which also has mtg, figures and manga and then we were talking about how manga is usually better than anime then the cashier or someone who works there walked over and joined the conversation and then he started talking about how some anime is very good and then he started picking up examples like sao and tokyo ghoul and attack on titan and we just tried to poker face our way out of the place and not burst out laughing on case of bad taste
you should have told the store manager and have had the cashier fired on the spot
as if im sure the manager would have started to preach how sao is superior to any anime ever
protip never talk to finnish people about anime nobody in finland has a good taste
protip never talk to finnish people about anime nobody in finland has a good taste
That's okay, I wouldn't be able to anyways since the only words I know in Finnish are perkele and pomppufiilis.
protip never talk to finnish people about anime nobody in finland has a good taste
I admit my taste is bad, since i can enjoy almost all kin of anime. But i do know one friend with a good taste. So there is at least 1 finn with good tastein finland.
That's okay, I wouldn't be able to anyways since the only words I know in Finnish are perkele and pomppufiilis.
the finnish language is a complex form of expression using grunts and swear words, nothing else is needed [editline]2nd January 2015[/editline]
I admit my taste is bad, since i can enjoy almost all kin of anime.
the finnish language is a complex form of expression using grunts and swear words, nothing else is needed
Sounds like how I normally speak English, every 3rd word is some kind of profanity and a grunt is acceptable where a grunt can be used.
yeah and that's me but i'm actually in animeland with saika so i dont count
But you are not even my friend. Most people remove me because i don't talk much.
But you are not even my friend. Most people remove me because i don't talk much.
i'm everyone's friend except that one super creepy guy who kept hitting on me constantly fuck him
i'm everyone's friend except that one super creepy guy who kept hitting on me constantly fuck him
hi why arent you responding to my messages
Finished Inou Battle. It wanted to have plot but also it didn't ? The little plot it did have was barely explained. I guess you need a S2 to even delve into that but I don't see this getting a S2. Wanted to add that I really enjoyed the last episode of Inou Battle but it's just so bad the rest of the time with some very few funny moments.
Most people remove me because i don't talk much.
I don't talk much and you just happen to not be on my Steam list. It's okay, you don't need to explain. I see how it is. Bitch.
Funny you mention Inou-Battle, because my friend and I recently started and prototyped a pen and paper RPG system based on it. The system is in fairly working if rough order, and we held a test session last night. Anyone interested in reading a bunch of nerds roleplay as superpowered highschool kids (plus one loli) are free to do so here: http://pastebin.com/zqtnQFan But I'll try and summarize the events real quick anyway.
Meet the cast: Haru Aoi Susumu: He's the pinnacle of ordinary delinquent; average at school, life, love, and just about everything else. He doesn't have much hope for the future, so he lives life in the present, and often makes fun of those who worry too much. He's 15 years old, has brown spiky hair, red eyes, is 5'7", always wears a set of oversized headphones. He plays the electric bass. His Power is that of Doorways, the ability to open any door and have almost anything you want to be behind them. Senpai-Chan: Calm, collected, and your senpai, Senpai-Chan, often referred to by underclassmen as Senpai-Senpai, is everything you could want in a senpai. He's 5'9'', always wears a suit, has stylish glasses and is a kindhearted individual, always looking out for the underclassmen's best interests. He plays the electric guitar. His Power is that of Transformation, the ability to transform himself and anything on his person into anything he desires. Tuija Heikki: A foreign exchange student from Iceland, she is adventurous, willing to try anything once (but is rarely good at it). Her friends back home had a saying of her, 'Jack of all trades, competent at almost nothing'. She is however very generous, having being sent home multiple times back in Reykjavík from getting sick for lending her coat to friends during even the coldest of days. She has black hair, blue eyes, and is 6'1''. She plays the harp. Her Power is that of Hard Light, though it's more often than not hardly of any use at all. Stella Sol: A young girl of only 9 years age, she hangs out with the Light Music Club for no particular reason. She's a small, bright, adorable and happy child. She enjoys looking at the stars. She can sing very well. Her Power is that of Stars, the ability to create heat, light and sparkles. Before we begin, it should be noted that powers and power usage is supposed to be a secret and that the population at large does not know about it. We start in the gang's clubroom of the Light Music Club, midway through Golden Week. They have a concert later that day. Haru is reading a Harmonica Weekly magazine, Stella is on the floor coloring, Senpai is looking wistfully out the window and Tuija is toying with her harp. They proceed to have a few conversations with each other and their friend, member and drummer of the LMC, Kichi Takahasi. Kichi is upset at the fact that everyone else has superpowers except her. After some more conversing, their band, the Superpowered Powergamers, decide to practice. They practice their most popular (and only) song, "I have the (Super)Power!" After this, they have some more slice of lifey shenanigans, bipping and bopping each other on the head over this and that. Highlights include Kichi singing poorly, Tuija grabbing Kichi's ample bosom and startling her, causing her to fall over, only to be saved by Senpai, who transformed into a mattress to cushion the fall. Senpai also transformed into a goat, giving Stella a ride around the room, as Haru grabbed various things from places with his door power and Tuija generally stood around not understanding much and speaking in a ridiculous accent. Senpai asks how long they'll be waiting until they have to play. Kichi checks the festival guide on her list, saying they've got a few hours, only to discover that the band playing before them is none other than their rival band, J-OFF (totally not a masturbation pun / joke about K-ON). This angers Kichi, and the gang then devise various ways to mess with their rivals. Kichi then gets a phone call, and discovers that J-OFF will actually be playing very soon. Ushering everyone into the gymnasium through the use of Haru's door power, they find J-OFF on stage, playing their first song. Kichi creates a quick plan and everyone agrees to challenge them to a battle of the bands. Haru uses his door power to take himself, Senpai, Stella and Kichi onto the catwalks above the stage, while Tuija stays in the middle of the aisle of chairs, awaiting her cue. Stella gives some none-too-subtle sparkles as the signal, and Tuija creates a cool-looking, rainbow-glowing, hard light stage and drumset floating above the audience. The gang all get onto this stage, and they play their song. J-OFF is none too happy, as the vocalist and bassist put down their microphone and instrument to challenge the Superpowered Powergamers to a battle of power use. The J-OFF vocalist and bassist get onto the hard light stage, where Senpai immediately punches the vocalist off by creating a jack-in-the-box fist. The vocalist lands on the drumset below. Tuija then crit-chains a roll to flashily shoot the bassist in the dick with a less-than-painful hard light gun that would shoot harmless bullets. The gun fires rainbows and the bassist is so bedazzled he falls off the stage and is knocked out. The vocalist then recovers himself and arcs electricity at all the party, only harming Tuija in the process. Following this, Haru opens a door, as eldritch tentacles reach out of it and beat the crap out of the vocalist. Finally, Stella goes, and she sparkles her wide eyes so much that the vocalist gives up, unwilling to harm a loli so small and adorable. They then play their instruments in a grand sendoff, creating an on the spot new hit single, "How We Beat Off the J-OFFs!" Once they finish and the crowd goes nuts, they go to Haru's house (through his door power) and make waffles.
