If you don't (i.e, clearly looking like a man when you're cosplaying as a girl) it's bad cosplay.
Gender matters because they cosplay people that have genders.

Uh, yes, the first arc of JoJo is pretty boring and generic.
Sure the ripple itself and Speedwagon are cool, but how it's used and what happens in that arc was really boring, it was only saved by [gg]'s skeddadeling subs, if it wasn't for that light undertone in word choices I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as I did.

GG's subs were fucking nonsensical and bordering on mistranslation half the time for how much they were stretching to shove in as much stupid as possible. "ooh hoo hoo hoo look at this silly antiquated english being fired out of a fucking shotgun in a contest to see how stupid it can get"'s appeal lasts about two episodes before it gets really annoying.

Phantom Blood is fun once, but pretty much only once. If you try to rewatch season 1 you'll end up skipping to Part 2 pretty quickly.

Well no actually comparing them to official BD subs they really were not that far off at all, especially considering how transliterated a lot of them were. Whether people liked them is of course their own thing.

Got to the halfway point of MagiPoka. Still not sure what the fuck I'm watching. Still enjoying it either way.
Watched the Valkyria Chronicles 3 OVA. Unlike the VC anime (which is terrible), it was pretty good. Imca's eyes are fucking gigantic though, and the animation at any point in which a scene is not considered cool was pretty meh. A-1 quality.
Started Gosick. Butt monkey manlet, midget girl and french blonde JP solve crimes. Cool.

I didn't watch s2 so idk about that I'm just saying s1 was godawful, even something 100 times better is still not even as good as sword art online.
Like silverspoon to some extent, it's like no one ever grew up on a farm.
