Admittedly, I stopped watching at episode 16 in Season 1 because I couldn't stand Yui, and having her show up first thing in the new arc was just too much. Not going through that shit again.
But I liked the pacing in the first part. Also, is this a harem btw?

And actually, I'd say I have seen around 40-45 different anime shows. Around 47 if you add movies (I don't watch a lot of anime movies). Now you're just mean.

I've read the manga. I wouldn't expect too much of this anime. Unless they edit it a lot (anime original scenes) to concentrate on the battles more, than jokes about the main character's virginity and her whore familiar's sex experience because that's pretty much what the manga is about (and the manga's/anime's name is "maria the virgin", but the only reason it's there is to act as dick-bait for sad otakus, in the manga atleast)

When did I say that? I never said best anime or something, I just counted up a few animes that I thought weren't as bad as people here claim they are. I said people on this thread, /r/anime and /a/ tend to think that many shows are inferior because they follow tropes, are anglicized and so on. Never said anything about what you guys watch is inferior, just that people in general should broaden their horizons. And why do you assume I haven't seen anything? Stop trying to trivialize my arguments with that preconceived notion, and learn to read posts thoroughly.
