Finished Kaitou Joker. For a kids show, it was really fun and I enjoyed it a lot, not as much as Shirobako or Cross Ange, but still enjoyable.
I was worried they would set up a ending for a s2 that would never ever ever come, but surprise surprise, it's getting a new one later in April, so that's relieving.

Well there's the Steins;Gate movie, AKA [sp]The Disappearance of Hououin Kyouma[/sp] finished. I think they could have come up with a bit of a better ending, but the problem is I can't think of what that ending should be.

The proper way to end it was to not make the movie at all. The original ending (+OVA) was definitive, tied up all the lose ends, and was still a good solid ending. The movie was basically a cash grabbed that changed nothing in the "canon".
I still loved the movie though. That 15 seconds of dere-kirisu made the whole thing worth it.

Maria looks interesting enough, it's a question of whether the ecchi parts are dumb enough to get in the way of the rest of the show. And even if the ecchi is dumb, there's the whole medieval war thing going on.

There's only one place I can buy Dr Pepper in a 50km radius so I got some out of curiosity. At first it was interesting, then it was alright, then I pretended to like it for a few seconds, then I tossed the half-full can because that shit is disgusting. It must be a flavour you grow up with, like Vegemite.
