And like I said it's then dumb that he can't hear them because guess what? [sp]speaking makes vibrations too[/sp]
ugh whatever
ugh whatever
It's dumb anime logic and nothing else, please don't try and excuse it on any other ground than being a convenient weakness that doesn't make sense in order for our heroes to have a fighting chance.
all the jojo op videos are MASSIVE SPOILERS.
it's like the anime is telling people to read the manga
And like I said it's then dumb that he can't hear them because guess what? [sp]speaking makes vibrations too[/sp]
Yes but lets just say that he can only hear vibrations that directly impact the sand, cause that's what he's doing, questioning why something is the way it is in jojo is just going to ruin it. Pretend vibrations in the air aren't strong enough when they reach sand for him to notice.
christ dgg, you're watching JoJo get used to Araki pulling things out of his ass and often putting them back in never to be seen again trying to find logic or consistency in this series is absurd
hey man it's ok a vampire suddenly gaining ice powers is completely understandable and a logical conclusion and not just a bullshit ability to counter ripple nuh-uh no sir

Also if questioning a show ruins it, it's a bad show. If you question Gurren Lagann it gives you a perfectly simple explanation, the power of belief is a energy resourc of it's own in the universe giving immense power to whoever believes. In JoJo it's just conveniently overpowered skills with a ridiculously convenient achilles heel that doesn't shy away from going against any real or made up rules. The skill talked about here is the kind that goes against it's own ruleset just to have a weakness. I don't give shows special bypasses to criticism because "LOL MUSCLES, POSES AND COLOURS!"

apparently the barakamon manga got serialized in the US and they sell for $15 per volume. And I bought the first 2 volumes. no ragrets.
$15? Wow. Who is selling it? Usually I see volumes sell around $8
Or actually have some fucking standards and not just let shows get by for no reason? I don't give shows special bypasses to criticism because "LOL MUSCLES, POSES AND COLOURS!"
you should though because it's a silly show and a silly show has silly logic and i enjoy that silly logic because it makes the silly show sillier than the silly show would've been without the silly logic ok
you should though because it's a silly show and a silly show has silly logic and i enjoy that silly logic because it makes the silly show sillier than the silly show would've been without the silly logic ok
How to make a silly show: Be silly, don't try to make up any fucking logic Be silly, apply logic, then break logic with new silly logic How not to make a silly show: Be serious, apply logic, then break logic with sillyness
Or actually have some fucking standards and not just let shows get by for no reason? I don't give shows special bypasses to criticism because "LOL MUSCLES, POSES AND COLOURS!"
I'm really surprised you didn't drop this during the first two parts JoJo's bizarreness is something that stays throughout the whole series, despite how radically different the individual Parts are in setting and characters I grasped this when I was reading through the first few ones it's all about Araki drawing bizarre stories about bizarre characters involving whateverthefuck he wants, most of which seems made up on the fly expect bullshit, or drop it
$15? Wow. Who is selling it? Usually I see volumes sell around $8
published by yenpress. I was surprised too. I went to BAM and BaN to see if there were any new manga releases and some new history books, and they both were selling volumes 1&2 for Barakamon for $15 a pop. The pages are a little bit large and the artwork in it is actually super fantastic so I can sorta see them raising the price a bit, but not doubling it. I mean, BaN also had the "All you need is Kill" full manga mega-book for $15 too, so I almost bought that. They also had a mega-book for SnK and it was $60 lmao
How to make a silly show: Be silly, don't try to make up any fucking logic Be silly, apply logic, then break logic with new silly logic How not to make a silly show: Be serious, apply logic, then break logic with sillyness
but if it's serious and then suddenly silly it's sillier than being silly and then silly like come on this is like common sense man
jojo? more like bore-bore
I'm really surprised you didn't drop this during the first two parts JoJo's bizarreness is something that stays throughout the whole series, despite how radically different the individual Parts are in setting and characters I grasped this when I was reading through the first few ones it's all about Araki drawing bizarre stories about bizarre characters involving whateverthefuck he wants, most of which seems made up on the fly expect bullshit, or drop it
I don't drop shows that I've started watching, and the second part was great. That's being comedical, over the top and still having some seriouness going on. Ripple-jojo was everything JoJo's Bizarre Adventure should have kept on being (I don't read manga so this is aimed at the current adoptation of Stardust Crusaders). Wacky zany shit against the big bad wolf that's threatening the world as we know it, and on the way to kick his ass he dabbles in crossdressing and pulling off ridiculous plans on the spot, that despite being impossible to pull off at such a short time still has some validity to them. Stardust Crusader however is just a bunch of boring guys that get new techniques out of thin air (Hermit Purple just keeps getting more and more uses as the show seems fit outside of the original ability) and then they (not young jojo) do some comedical shenanigans every now and again, but the fights are all straight-faced with tons of exposition and talk to try and sell how dire the situation is before they come up with a solution and finish it all in one quick blow and wow that was convenient! RippleJo didn't necessarily succeed at his first attempt, and when he did he had to work for it to work out as he wanted. StardustJo and crew just gets their shit wrecked and panicks until they conveniently figure out the whole deal and then just win without much of a fight.
but if it's serious and then suddenly silly it's sillier than being silly and then silly like come on this is like common sense man
Yes, that's why TTGL works and JoJo-not-ripple does not work.
Yes, that's why TTGL works and JoJo-not-ripple does not work.
not-ripple-nipple-joey-jojo completely works though i dont know what you're talking about man it's a silly show and it works hard every day 9-to-5 man
Koufuku Graffiti kind of let me down. The meal scenes weren't erotic.
not-ripple-nipple-joey-jojo completely works though i dont know what you're talking about man it's a silly show and it works hard every day 9-to-5 man
If there is one thing I've heard on repeat when it comes to Joutarou, it's that he is the most boring JoJo of all the JoJo's, so I'm actually surprised to hear you say that. He is a boring straightfaced guy that only does one thing, punching. He has no comedic value in the show at all, that's left to everyone else in the JoJo crew. He's like some poor sod that has a group of friends that's forced him to travel on their wacky fun adventures and he's not enjoying himself one bit and just keeps going with them out of respect because they're his friends.
he's an introverted one-liner machine yeah his comedic value is how much of a cheesy "super mega cool guy" he sometimes is

Your humor and my humour is 50 years and 1000 light years apart.
Who the fuck is Joutarou
Yes, I agree, he is such a bland person knowing who he even is, is hard.
Right... Your humor and my humour is 50 years and 1000 light years apart.
nah yours is just bad I'm afraid
Who the fuck is Joutarou
to be fair, his name is actually Jōtarō, meaning two long o's
Who the fuck is Joutarou
fist result on goggle says jotaro
Right... Your humor and my humour is 50 years and 1000 light years apart.
great proof of that is that you rated nichibros a 9 but i gave it a 6 i have a comedic taste that rarely gets much attention in anime sadly
"guys why jojo have strange, even bizarre logic" well gee dgg i don't fucking know, maybe you should read steel ball run instead, where you can only do your final technique on a horse and spinning a ball really well allows you to heal wounds and violently manipulate people's appearances
"guys why jojo have strange, even bizarre logic" well gee dgg i don't fucking know, maybe you should read steel ball run instead, where you can only do your final technique on a horse and spinning a ball really well allows you to heal wounds and violently manipulate people's appearances
haha, it says bizarre adventure in the title so having super shitty writing that goes against it's own logic that it willingly introduced to make it seem more serious and bound in reality is ok You know there is difference between being bizarre (weird) and just being illogical? You can be bizarre and remain faithful to any logic you've presented into the world. JoJo's Bizareness comes from the stands and the people, not how the laws of nature work. The stands manipulate reality, but reality itself still stays the same. That's why you have people spending 1/3 of the episode talking about what's going on and why it works the way it does. I think it's stupid to pass off poor writing and contradictions as "part of the show". You can by all means enjoy it despite logical failures, but don't fucking defend it as if it wasn't the authors fault, and that it was all right because it has bizarre in the title. Stuff like "it's fantasy" and "lol magic" isn't a valid excuse, nor is "it's bizarre".
