Koufuku Graffiti is one of those larger than life kind of shows were people don't act like people at all in order to romanticize every little thing you possibly can in daily life and anything related to food.
I guess in one way it's to be expected, but I am generally put off by characters that stop acting human in order to make these really "intimate" scenes where they cherish the moment/something/someone and treat others as if they had known them all their life despite having literally just met. It's especially offsettling when everything is dealt with in that way.
It's simply put, too sweet. If you sprinkle everything with sugar, then it's going to taste awful.
My God, how is Rolling Girls not a Trigger anime? It looks and feels just like one. It also seems like it's going to be pretty rad.
How is Log Horizon S2
How is Log Horizon S2
it has no logs over horizons so it sucks
[editline]10th January 2015[/editline]
no but really it's not nearly as good as s1
How is Log Horizon S2
absolutely shit animation (not gonna argue this with you again reds, dont even fuckin bother), not nearly as good as S1, bust still very watchable and still pretty good.
I just realized that the MAL page for Lesbian Bears has [sp]MC's lover chick listed as a "Supporting Character." That doesn't bode well for her...[/sp]
How is Log Horizon S2
Absolutely mostly fine animation other than lower lineart quality and garbage looking hair (not gonna argue this with you again trunk monkay, dont even fuckin bother), nearly as good as season 1, but suffered from the first two arcs being drawn out too long and splitting up the party. Akatsuki couldn't really hold an arc on her own and it being primarily action based didn't help.
You won't be disappointed at all and I imagine the pacing issues of the first arc/s are reduced when you can watch at your own rate rather than wait a week between episodes.
How does Solid State Society hold up to SAC?

damn that sucks
why deen
why
According to people who watched the two-episode preview episode two has a substantial drop in animation quality, so don't get your hopes up.
Reviews weren't particularly glowing either, but the show apparently doesn't properly "start"/get past the introductory phase until episode 3 or 4, can't remember which. Either way I'm going into this impartial and I hope it ends up being really good.
damn that sucks, I hope it turns out to be decent at least
damn that sucks
why deen
why
I probably wouldn't pin the blame on deen, more like the original source is at fault here.
Log Horizon just felt like it focused on all the boring parts of mmos.
Don't like SAO? How about if it had no action and more of a focus on meaningless politics and guild bureaucracy.
But don't worry, here's loli ninja and cat man. Nyah.
I kinda dropped it as well
how come it just rapidly goes downhill like that?
surely DEEN can at least partially be blamed for it

Deen has fuck-all to do with it because they're just animating it. I believe that the writing staff is pretty much the same as the first season, if I'm wrong feel free to call me out on that.

They're both fuckin' fantastic. All gits is good gits

More like "what if you took all the stupid pleb bullshit out of SAO and created a fantasy-scifi anime about worldbuilding and interesting politics."
It's funny how SAO's second MMO could have been extremely interesting if it dropped the drama and just focused on the guilds and racial stuff.
or to put it more directly sao could be good if it stopped being sao
"sao would be a lot better if it were log horizon"

A lot of shows could be improved by being Log Horizon.
imagine how good log horizon s2 would be if it were log horizon s1
Log Horizon thinks it's way smarter than it actually is, just taking the action out and replacing it with roundtable discussions about where to get iron from doesn't make it a clever or well written show.
Its just an obvious reaction to SAOs success, its focus on politics is its big drawing point but it just feels shallow. I should mention this isn't a defense of SAO, I know people here hate it.

It's worth watching if that's what you mean

i feel like your only experience with log horizon was either a fever dream or skimming the first 30 seconds of the first episode. I say this becuase you have no fucking idea what the fuck your talkin about bud

I'm gonna ignore everything wrong with your post to focus on one particular part: I don't think an insufficient supply chain of iron was ever brought up.
Well this is why I got told to not bother posting here.
Bye sorry I insulted your anime.
The only reason you would like S2 is if you hated S1.
Or you're Ashxu.
Take your pick
I pretty much said I was waiting to see if it would get better but it didn't so I gave it a 6
dunno why youre still butthurt about it
no the problem with log horizon is the fact that there is no exploration of any depth into any charcter's past, motives, or ideals and as a result i find it difficult to empathize or care about anyone in the show

whoever told you that probably told you that because said person knew we'd probably yell at you for talking out your ass.

That is a really stupid reason to leave. If a group is too conformist then it will never improve, where would improvement come from if not from people who disagree with the masses?
I suppose if you halt your advance at any sign of resistance then sure maybe you shouldn't even be on an online forum to begin with. Reds, however, is being actually ignorant and even states this fact in his post by saying that he is going to ignore what HE thinks is wrong with your post, and he is attempting to exploit what he believes is the weakest part of your post.
If you are going to give in just because of that then perhaps you are right and you don't belong when it comes to posting in an open forum.
also I have literally no opinion on Log Horizon cuz I haven't watched it, so I am neither supporting or opposing your argument.
I am merely saying that you are being stupid to give up just because of a few responses or because a bunch (not really a bunch, like 5 people) of people too incompetent to form their own words clicked a box icon under your post. Try and express what you truly feel about the show, maybe people will see your point, and if they are not open minded enough to see it when you have expressed it competently then it really doesn't matter what they think.
Then again we are talking about anime so it isn't really a big deal to begin with so you could just give up on a stupid single show argument and post some shit about something else at a later date.
But then again, people obviously care enough about it to oppose you so if you aren't giving it the same consideration that they are to begin with then maybe your post is actually not helping at all.
