I don't really see what's there to miss about the premise, it seems to be one that goes out of its way to make sure that everything about the premise is face value. I mean, the exposition literally goes "and then some stuff happened" because exactly how the world got into the bizarre state it's in is irrelevant.
People form gangs and fight for territory. That's about it. There's a bunch of details like the rules that govern these gangs but we haven't been told them yet.

just how "serious" the turf war is I guess as in is it just a bunch of kids fighting each other or is it actually a serious fight over territory but i'll admit i probably missed a few details during the start

I imagine it'll vary depending on the people fighting but as shown so far it seems to be both. It's presented goofily and in a non-serious fashion but it still involves people being booted out of their homes based on the turf war. So a mix, I guess. Which is why Maccha Green proposes just sharing instead of forcing either one out.
If we have a proper villain they'll likely either be really over the top like Ragyou or "ok this isn't fun anymore" style. Most likely the first.
Changing it from Mob to Rest makes the tagline make no sense, not that it was a good tagline to begin with. However, it does have a charm to it as a localisation that keeps the theming going.
It looks like there's going to be a lot of district gags though.

well that's what got me a bit muddled as it's entirely school kids however unlike KLK that had a dystopian setting, rolling girls is still modern day which makes it a bit less believable but i suppose it's only ep 1 so we'll see

I don't really know a lot about that whole genre of anime, but I think realism is thrown out the window when it comes to anthropomorphic boats. I would assume their outfits are basically swim suits cuz they are boats, so it would kind of make sense to be more or less of a bikini, but I literally don't even know because I haven't played the game or watched anything else with anthropomorphic machines. You see swim suits all the time that have "skirts" attached to them, so that part makes sense to me. If you were to ask me what didn't make sense about the outfit then it would be all of the rest of it that isn't the swimsuit bottoms, like the shoes, the top, the arm gloves, the leggings, the weird bunny ear bow thing, and the shoes.
Maybe I'm not anime enough to find the skirt to be the the odd part of the outfit and instead find everything else about the outfit to be odd.
Well yeah the whole thing looks weird because it's basically one big combination of weeaboo fetishes

I really don't have a reason to not look for the next episode. The first 2 episodes suck dick worse than ABP, but damn I don't even know how to explain who good this shit is. I was expecting a samuri fleminco or rail wars, but it's like eva had sex with Gurren Laggen.

So this is me just kind of "ranting" about episode 111 of Hunter x Hunter (2011)
[sp]Okay so they are finally attacking the bad dudes (thank god, this whole chimera ant story arc was pretty boring) but I am super confused about one particular part of this shit, which is the guy who was a bad dude who has been captured by the good dudes or whatever is for some reason charging in to the big battle on the good dudes side for some reason. This the the scouting chimera ant dude who controls fireflies or whatever and just hovers over the battle and relays shit back to his chimera ant friends. The last time I remember seeing him they had just captured him in the teleportation room thingy and was all tied up and shit, but now he is for some reason seemingly on the good side now. I don't even know what is happening with all that shit but the rest of the episode was cool. I am just confused because I don't know if I just don't remember them explaining it or if it will be explained later, but it seems like such a small character for it to have not been explained in a short/simple way before this point.[/sp]
