All of the shit I know about vaporizers is booksmart stuff because I've never been interested in actually using one, but I would assume the burnt taste is from a low resistance coil or too high voltage. If the voltage is variable you can turn it down until that stops happening.

i probably should have just forked over some extra cash and bought an actual kit instead of this disposable one. oh well, it wasn't too super expensive. this has been a learning experience.
