Haha, sorry I haven't been here for awhile. I've been dealing with college and honestly it made me less inclined to go to FP cuz I have a general distaste for the forum. Not to say WAYT is bad, just that i've had less motivation to come on FP period
I hope you've all been well though, I figured now was a good time to pop in and say hi and fart a little

Honestly I kinda like it, i'll probably have more pineapple pizza when im feeling able to look at a pizza again
i couldn't have it all the time but every once in awhile it'd be good
The idea is they get stuck with the bill and they have the inconvenience of having to explain they didn't order a pizza to a poor schmuck who had to deliver it

i guess now u know how regret tastes
the game i was going to play with the whole family tonight-- my fucking brother went and played like an hour of it with his online 'friends' and now he doesn't want to play any more of it (we were planning to use his computer and room to play it)
why couldn't he just wait until we all played it together
I offered myself to make music for another game and they got back to me immediately and asked me to make like a title theme song as a test. God I hope this goes well, I know this game is going to do well and if I get to be part of it that's gonna be the best thing that's happened to me in my life.
I enjoyed most of the halo's honestly, Reach was the pinnacle of the series for me. I haven't played 4 though so I have no opinion on it, but I'm interested in Guardians.
Probably will be a thousand years until I play them though cuz I do not own an Xbone. I went with the PS4 and my brother moved out so I can't borrow his XBone anymore
question, is persona a game series worth playing
ye/no
Have to draw three people in three different poses from three different angles for a drawing project.
I CAN'T FIND SHIT TO DRAW.
reach was better than three tho
[editline]18th October 2015[/editline]
not story wise i guess but everything else
I dunno I kind of agree but at the same time I disliked the "Armour Abilities" thing as I liked knowing the map in 3 and using strategy to get the power ups not just pressing a button. IMO 3's story was also far, far better and the online maps were almost perfect BUT I could honestly just be looking at it from rose tinted spectacles.
I only used sprint tbh I didn't really like the armor abilities

even if i can convince him at this point, we're both going to have a sour mood
why did he have to ruin it

i used to think these things but i went back and played both in order and though reach was waaaay better afterwards
better forge, better maps, powerups don't play as much of a part as people sometimes say they do
question, is persona a game series worth playing

were you waiting to ask this question for when i ever reappeared or something
i may be very very very biased but YES ABSOLUTELY
the whole series is great but most people usually just play Persona 3 and 4, cuz the first two are harder to get into and don't have much relevance on P3, P4, and everything after.
nothing will ever beat garbage man on halo 3 though. i fucking loved custom maps
nothing will ever beat garbage man on halo 3 though. i fucking loved custom maps
Fat kid, jenga, and this one race where one dude was in the middle firing rockets and sniping and everyone was racing to a teleporter to get to him I forgot what it was called but it was fun.

I've heard 1 and 2 are clunky and awkward to dive into first but up to you I guess.

- was too excited for coop to wait
- nothing in it spoils anything in 4
- it was on the same disc as 2 and 3 and i'm lazy

Ah i see. I'll give you a good run down on all of them
Persona 1, and Persona 2: Innocent Sin, are best played on the PSP versions, as they enhanced the games a good deal and aren't rare as fuck. For Persona 2 it's a little annoying because it's a duology, so you'd wanna play them in order. Innocent Sin is first, Eternal Punishment is second, however the PSP version of Eternal Punishment was never localized. You can still get the ps1 version of it though digitally and it plays fine, just isn't as nice.
Persona 3, you'd wanna start with Persona 3 FES for the PS2. It has the most stuff, and has an epilogue campaign called "The Answer" which works as a good wrap up for the P3 story. If the AI controlled party members aren't to your liking though, you can go with Persona 3 Portable, which plays a bit more like P4 does and also lets you play as a female. However, it's not as well presented since it had to be downgraded for the PSP. Still plays fine though
Persona 4, you absolutely wanna play Persona 4 Golden for the PSVita / PSTV if you can. This version renders the original PS2 version obsolete, and adds a ridiculous amount of content. It's the best experience of P4.
If you buy a PSTV or a second-hand PSVita, you can pretty much play the whole series that way, because all the PSP versions are playable and the PS1 version of Eternal Punishment is playable on it as well.

As for general opinions on how all of them are, Persona 1 and 2 are great storywise, though the gameplay is a bit dated. Perfectly playable though, if you can get past some clunkiness and stuff you'll enjoy them fine. Persona 2 actually has my favorite story in the franchise.
P3 is my favorite, and it's what defined persona as it is now. The only real negative to it if you're playing the PS2 version is that you cannot control your party members, and sometimes their AI is not the smartest. You can work around it though and you unlock AI settings to fine tune their behavior as the game goes on. The game is fairly dark and sad, but it also isn't afraid to be fun and make you smile when needed. Story revolves a lot around death and the meaning of life and all that. The social link system was introduced here, and was continued and refined in P4.
Persona 4 tightens up everything about p3's combat, letting you control everyone and refining some mechanics. It's more lighthearted than previous entries, which has probably lead to its large appeal. It's a lot of fun and with Golden, it has probably the best gameplay in the series. If you like murder mysteries as well you'll probably like it a lot
