Remake implies that it wasn't good enough the first time, so you'll make it again and change it so it is good, hence the show Extreme Makeover or how FMA: Brotherhood is a remake.
Rebuild implies making the exact same thing again, but probably with better parts. It's still the same thing in the end, just of a better quality.
I think that actually helps your argument since you wouldn't have to watch the same thing twice just because one is better (I'm not sure sure I haven't watched either) but really all I'm doing here is correcting you're grammar. :v:
