That's what Core AVC is for.
Also the EVR Custom Preset option in MPC takes use of GPU acceleration (DXVA). (but it is not used if you have Core AVC, reason being that Core AVC is better.)

Yeah i know i have CoreAVC and MPC, but i like XBMC but it doesn't use directshow so.....
