Either they're setting it up for two seasons or they're going to fulfill a lot of wishes in the coming episodes. Or they just leave it unfinished. But the end of the movie is incredibly rushed and pretty darn fucking clichè, so it's okay I guess. Well not really ok at all, but still.

I just watched the ninth episode of Uminkeo no Naku Koro Ni. I can't tell if I like it or not. I also can't understand why they would make the show invite you to try and solve the mysteries yourself when you already see the (outrageous) absolute reality in it. Battler pisses me off, too. I can't understand how [sp] He can deny the existence of magic when he's frozen in time with Beatrice and is watching his friends and family die for a second time.[/sp] Seeing [sp]Rika [/sp] was an interesting treat, though.
