I don't really have one. I usually keep below 5 doujins on my hd, the best of the best. The rest I just read online.

I also do doubt it. But the theory is very much plausible and sounds much more like something KEY would do.
I think you're mixing up PLOT with STORY. The plot is what the show is about. The story is how the plot is executed and shown, a.k.a what happens. I don't see how they can pull off a good story no matter what, they failed already at the first episode.
But again, the show has really catched up in terms of how good it is. The overall experience is actually not that bad anymore. But it really was terrible for the first 3 episodes and bad for the 3-4 next. So it's never going to be recommended.

Not in a technical correct order to watch. As it's been mentioned earlier the rebuild series actually seems to be a form of sequel to the TV series and the movie End of Evangelion. The sequel parts are just references and small adjustments in the speeches that hints towards previous happenings in the TV series and movie. So it's in no way needed to watch.
But EoE is a nice movie, if only for the animation and vagina forehead. I'd say it's worth watching through the crappy TV series to watch EoE.

It's quite well done really. It's always quite impressive to see that people still can actually have styles that are unique and distinguishable. That they can have that little special that makes it clear who it is.

I can open it up in MPC or some shit and fast forward / rewind etc. Plus I just dick around on "image"boards, particularly ones with big flash projects or threads that have compilations of good flash makers (like Zone). I don't especially like relying on the thread itself to always be there when I need it so I save the ones I like.

Is there a better way to view the dropbox thing? Just opening up standard folders is so drab to me, I need shiny new interfaces and buttons to make it more streamlined.

you could go to the dropbox site and explore the folders there but it's pretty much the same
