The subtitles look wrong on VLC. It isn't smooth when skipping to parts. No one should use it. I liked VLC when I was a noob, now I know that MPC is miles better and use only that.

I use Zoom Player, and from what I've heard it's hated even more. But for some reason ZoomPlayer is the only one on my computer that doesn't explode when I try to use FFDShow filters such as sharpen, post processing, etc. When I try to use FFDShow with MPC or VLC, they either don't work, or the video gets terribly laggy and starts to desync. If someone can explain how to set up MPC with FFDShow and not have it ruin the video, I'd probably use MPC then.

Get Core AVC and see if it works then. Maybe your computer can handle it then as it has less to work with.

But I don't understand why it would work with Zoom Player and be fine (with all filters active) but then when I try to use FFDShow in MPC with the filters active, it can barely play. Why does it run fine in ZoomPlayer and not MPC?
