I don't know the technical details about it at all. All I know is that MPC has more stuff going on, or just simply isn't optimized well enough, so it takes more resources to do shit.
But you have checked that your output setting is good too, right?

Is there a complete guide for setting up MPC to use FFDshow? I've looked around, but they all look like half-assed things for quick answers. Are there any decent guides? (Note I just uninstalled all of my old shit, then installed the K-lite pack)
