After 15 minutes of google I found shit replies that basically did nothing. I decided to remap the speakers in MPC so instead of using the center channel, it's remapped to come out of the front left and front right speakers. Apparently my center channel sucks and is extremely quiet, even though I have it turned all the way up in my system settings.

Choice of words and formulations are really important. Especially to be able to translate into what they're actually saying, not what they are directly saying.
