I restored a vintage Garrard turntable for my girlfriend for christmas. When I got it it was in a broken plastic plinth, completely not working mechanically, plastic garbage cartridge and needle. Milled down some Cherry and made a new plinth and headshell cover, rewired it, completely broke it down and lubricated it and modded in a new Audio Technica A92b cartridge, repainted it.
