It just seems to plug into whatever part of my brain first started me playing games, even I played it on the second or third console I'd owned.
Pokemon Bioshock Borderlands 2 & TpS, but only with friends Dragon Age Origins

Every few years I'll replay a Phoenix Wright game.
Is there really any such thing as an enjoyable game that isn't worth revisiting? Anyways, here's my list: Keen 1-6 & dreams (=firstCreator:I"]You can play them for free in a browser at The Internet Archive) Star Control II (really a classic game that doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It's also legally available for free now.) Hellbender Quake and expansions Quake II and expansions Deus Ex (original and HR) Half-life and expansions Half-Life 2 Morrowind Oblivion Fallout 3 & NV Skyrim Dishonored and just about every other game I own other than invisible war
Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins Zelda: Skyward Sword & The Wind Waker
silent hill 3.
For me, the Mega Man X series (along with the Zero series on GBA) are some of the best action platformers of all time, and I can't help but revisit them all every year or so. [sp]My current avatar gives that away though.[/sp] Also, I can't help but replay old Metroid games too. Zero Mission and Fusion are a blast, and only take 2 hours to beat, making them perfect for road trips.

[t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/deusex/images/a/a9/DeusExCover.png/revision/latest?cb=20130611054733&path-prefix=en[/t] I played through Deus Ex a year ago and loved it, no nostalgia needed. Though I am one of those "who gives a fuck about graphics and story" guys. I hadn't felt forced to carefully navigate and play slowly for a long time. There was a lot of pointless areas and empty space which I hated at first but then loved. Instead of modern games rewarding you with loot every time you go "oh wait a sec I wonder what's over here..." this game's like "Just what did you expect to find in the aquarium? I mean, I know we put a pickable locked door and required swimming skills or items to reach the tank, but what did you expect, a GEP gun? No, you can have these useless goggles." Or, just plain "Nothing is over here. You're just lost." It made me actually care about not getting lost, like I would in real life. The difficulty also made me really want to make sense of an area. Lastly, the limited resources you have to get by areas made your choices more tense.
This is a game I replay quite often: I want my damn sequel!
