Unsure how popular this game was though but I never hear anyone talk about it.

To name a few.
Isn't the Incredible Machine well-known though? That game is awesome.
Kinda I guess, none of my friends played it though :)

Both really good games, Sphinx especially.
Colony Wars: Vengeance was really cool when I was growing up. I loved the mission start launch tube thing.

Out of all sci-fi-space-shooters it was the only one I really loved, it had robust ship design.
wish someone would make a spiritual successor, it's like space Ace Combat for me, simple, cool and fun.
Really like this one from Red Sun.

This was one of my first fantasy RPG's, I loved every minute of it, except for how fucking hard the last boss was cause I couldn't target specific things.
Amazon best class.
Pharaoh for the PC
It's a city management game and it's one of my favorite and I think it's really underrated.
It's also one of the last games I want a HD re-release of.

To be fair, I had no fucking clue what I was doing. The incessant beeping, I honestly don't remember much about it.
Outlaws. I loved it.
These games were literally all I played. I fucking loved them, and still play them to this day.
Jet set radio future isn't that obscure, but it is genuinely my favorite game of all time. I recently beat it for the first time, even though the original xbox I got when I was like 5 came with it. Such an amazing feeling when I did.
Oh yeah, Rollcage and Rollcage: Stage 2 too, not quite hidden gems but also not as well known as they should be

Descent as well, that game was the balls
Oh boy, I talk about this game every fucking time I get a chance to. Nostferatu on the SNES is a criminally underrated game. Gameplay is a strange blend of Castlevania, Prince of Persia, and Double Dragon, and the graphics are astounding for the SNES. Soundtrack is lacking, sadly, but is mostly Silent Hill-esq ambience that is equally impressive for the time. It's incredible and satisfyingly difficult, and one I wholly recommend.
