I remember playing a computer game where you're a anthromorphic bug fighting against ants and rescuing ladybugs, but apparently it wasn't called Bug Kingdom, because I can't find anything on the game I'm talking about from searching "bug kingdom game". There's also this: [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/62/Ty_the_Tasmanian_Tiger_Coverart.jpg[/t]
The cut-scenes were amazing.
Machines: Wired for War Near one of the first fully 3D rts games, and a very underrated one. I don't think I've really seen anyone else play this. Its super fun, albeit some pathfinding problems with the AI.
[t]http://www.emuparadise.me/fup/up/150867-TimeSplitters_-_Future_Perfect_(USA)-1.jpg[/t] NO-ONE I KNOW HAS PLAYED THIS FUCKING WHY
You've nailed it. Timesplitters is like the ultimate. Used to play bots on TS2 with my mate and it was just bliss.

I remember really liking this game.
I have that game in the box and everything! Must have been around 1999, everyone had a ps1 or n64, but we still had a sega master system 2 had loads of fun with it tho.

amazing amazing game that we had bought on a whim!! it was a staple in family gatherings! did anyone else play this??
Armored Core is a very underrated and underplayed series as a whole. So few people I've ever met have played a single game from the franchise, or even heard of it. If anyone's ever played Chromehounds, it's kinda like that, though with more bipedal humanlike mechs (but there are quad-legged and tank types too) and a bit more speed in later games. Same developer, as well. (From Software)
Old armored core games were boss. They just haven't been as good after the AC2 series though. For Answer was a shit ton of fun but most don't consider it a traditional AC game.
Does anyone remember these? Sadly I only played the demos and never got the full games. I recently dug out my copies and played them, still so much fun. [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/06/Voodoo_Vince_US_front.jpg[/t] Another one of my favorite games that unfortunately wasn't backwards compatible to the 360. I've got the soundtrack around somewhere, its great.
Guardian's Crusade. I find it so hard to remember the name I google "ps1 knight game" and thank fuck it's the 3rd result for me. But that game was the first RPG I ever played and I think it was a brilliant introduction. RPGs are something I find very hard to get into nowadays for some reason.
Probably the first PC game I went out and bought with my own pocket money. Also, Fuckin' love Deadlock. Went without playing it for years and years until GoG, god bless 'em, provided a version of the game that can run on modern systems.

My favourite game to play with my dad and sister back in the day.
I thought these 2 were pretty great. [editline]6th December 2014[/editline] Nevermind I found it, it's gotcha force. Woah, this thing is pretty Pricey now, Imma let my buddy know if he still has it.

Whenever we met up we'd rent that game from Blockbuster. It was so fucking good.
[t]http://puu.sh/djk8V.png[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/djkq7.png[/t] Most games I played as a kid can't be said to be "hidden gems", first I ever played was Doom on uncle's ancient pc. It seemed scary back then.

I searched for the game everywhere and never found it :(
