Near one of the first fully 3D rts games, and a very underrated one. I don't think I've really seen anyone else play this. Its super fun, albeit some pathfinding problems with the AI.

Old armored core games were boss. They just haven't been as good after the AC2 series though. For Answer was a shit ton of fun but most don't consider it a traditional AC game.
Does anyone remember these? Sadly I only played the demos and never got the full games.

The Ty series was and are still some of my favorite games ever. I recently dug out my copies and played them, still so much fun.

Another one of my favorite games that unfortunately wasn't backwards compatible to the 360. I've got the soundtrack around somewhere, its great.
Guardian's Crusade. I find it so hard to remember the name I google "ps1 knight game" and thank fuck it's the 3rd result for me.
But that game was the first RPG I ever played and I think it was a brilliant introduction. RPGs are something I find very hard to get into nowadays for some reason.

Most games I played as a kid can't be said to be "hidden gems", first I ever played was Doom on uncle's ancient pc. It seemed scary back then.

I only had a demo of it, and a friend of a friend had a chinese import version of it that we got to play sometimes.
I searched for the game everywhere and never found it :(
