did anyone else play nox? or was it just me [t]http://files.khinsider.com/vgwallpaper/1024x768/2303-nox-1-dfncp.jpg[/t]
Yes.
I know this is late but every time I see Freedom Fighters it always saddens me that they didn't make this into a franchise or made any sequels. Instead they thought making a Kane and Lynch 2 was worth making...
I tried to find it but I couldn't. I used to play the hell out of a game that I thought was called "Sim Cars" but I guess it wasn't. You could customize your car and drive around a ton of cities and put weapons and shit on your car, it was great. There was a delivery gamemode where you drove like a shitty beetle around or a souped up 18 wheeler. it was so fun. I wish I could find it again. [editline]7th December 2014[/editline] it was a PC game and it must have been released...geeze, like 96-98 [editline]7th December 2014[/editline] oh fuck it's Streets of SimCity that game ruled [editline]7th December 2014[/editline]
Fun fact, you could load cities from SC2K and drive around in them.
Did anyone else ever play this too? I loved this game.
This was such a great game. Controls were banana's but it was so good. Dat Mental Asylum level scared the crap out of me. And the sewer level after it was absolute bullshit difficult. Man experiencing some serious nostalgia atm.
Fun fact, you could load cities from SC2K and drive around in them.
Then the other half the time the game would encounter an error and crash :v:

It was a pretty fun game and had some unique qualities to it, like being able to shoot the pewpew lasers off of robots rendering them useless. I used to disarm robots and roam around the apocalypse with an army of "friendly" robots in toe. Easiest way to describe the game was it was UT's answer to Counterstrike. IMO it was vastly superior, the gameplay was much faster paced and the game itself was way more modular than Counter Strike ever was or ever will be, especially in today's day and age. One of my favorite modifications was Monsterhunt, Counter terrorists and Terrorists worked together to fight waves of monsters from the original Unreal series.

Guys, step it up. The lack of this anywhere in this thread is disturbing. [t]http://img1.game-oldies.com/sites/default/files/packshots/sony-playstation/ctr-crash-team-racing.jpeg[/t] Or even this. Probably not much of a hidden gem but

Holy shit I loved this game.
[t]http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/strikers1945/strikers45ps1.jpg[/t]
I fucking loved this game [editline]9th December 2014[/editline] Earth 2150 Honestly this game was way ahead of its time: Terrain deformation (Mainly done purposely with construction units), unit customisation and complex research trees, tunnels, ammo supply system, armable/upgradeable buildings. Honestly it's one of the best RTS I've played, it's such a shame the sequel was trash in comparison, and the factionswere ridiculously unbalanced - In early-game, UCS could begin producing combat units at least 50% faster than ED could. Basically the UCS only have to plonk down an extractor on a resource field and there you go, that's cashmoney, but ED have to build an extractor, a refinery and a number of transport trucks to move the ore between the two buildings. While the whole process was really cool, it just meant ED couldn't keep up, economy wise, meaning for an MP game to be balanced, it had to be "Cash injection of # every #". That actually existed as an option though.

[t]http://img1.game-oldies.com/sites/default/files/packshots/sony-playstation/ctr-crash-team-racing.jpeg[/t]
I would never say Crash games were "hidden" gems, at least here they were very popular. Here's a game I had doubts whether to post or not because it was and still is popular in eastern europe: [t]http://puu.sh/djkyz.png[/t] It's probably my favourite game ever, I still play it with friends on hamachi.

I don't think these would class as "hidden gems", but they were my personal favourites on the PS1. Don't think I know anyone who played Studio Tour. [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/cc/RugratsStudioTour.jpg[/t] [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/fc/Rugrats_-_Search_for_Reptar_Coverart.png[/t] [t]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/617QNNX4RFL.jpg[/t] And later on PS2 [t]http://img.gamefaqs.net/box/8/3/7/62837_front.jpg[/t] Seriously had the most fun in this game driving around L.A and then watching shit go crazy with a cheat that made traffic travel at 255mph. The game got so glitchy with that one, especially around intersections where there would be cars literally floating in the air after a collision. Again not a game I came across outside of me owning it.
Not exactly a hidden gem at all, but the reason why I'm so fucking SALTY about the newer Red Faction games. It ain't Geo-Mod unless you can tunnel through the fucking terrain to make a shortcut to the enemy.
Pretty well known now, but when it first came out it didn't go over all that well. I actually was really lucky to stumble upon it, found a copy in almost perfect condition in a pile at my cousin's house (he was really rough on his games so I'm amazed it was in such good shape), although it scared the hell out of me as a kid, looking back on it it's actually still pretty frightening, they used the hardware limitations to their advantage in a lot of the designs.
The only good Spawn game to ever exist is also one of the best Dreamcast games ever. Imagine a gory third-person power stone with the fucking sickest roster of characters and a variety of unique weapons for each character. It also has the best feature ever: Hitting an enemy from a high place and having them fall on their back will have them die instantaneously in a pool of their own blood.:v: The game is pretty rare and expensive now, but if you have four friends and a Dreamcast it's the best thing ever. It's a shame DC emulation isn't better. I can run Wii games in HD, but Spawn stutters in NullDC.
No on but me seems to have played this
