I played a ton of this but I could never convince any of my friends that it was a sweet game. I also remember trying to convince my mother that I was being productive with my computer time by, "saving the environment". Weak excuse, she didn't buy it.
I couldn't get pass the palace level with the tank in it droidekas are fucking terrifying as well I also remember hoarding on guns and grenades :v:
I don't know if it was just because I was shit or something but I remember this game being hard as fucking balls. There were a ton of maps I just got utterly stumped on, took me ages and I gave up in the end.
[t]http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/1/14761/815853-front_cover.jpg[/t] I don't think I've met a single person whose played this game. Same goes for this one. Not many of my friends have played this either. (quake is usually overshadowed by games like Doom, doesn't get as much as attention as some imo) [t]http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20081122160354/starwars/images/8/81/Mastersbox.jpg[/t] Not a very good game but I enjoyed the hell out of it. This game was my entire childhood. I remember my school teacher telling me not to write about Quake anymore in my journal. Quake 2 was released shortly after.
One of the lesser known RPGs from NIS. What other RPG lets you use a phonograph or a tree as your primary weapon? [thumb]http://img.gamefaqs.net/box/5/3/4/55534_front.jpg[/thumb] Solid platforming gameplay paired with amazing music.
Anybody remember this? (Yeah, didn't think so) I used to play this all the time during my computer classes back in first grade. My favorite game, however, was some sort of pixel art program, that let you grab sprites from a huge gallery, and drag them into a separate panel to make scenes.
Make fun of me all you want but this game is the shit. I got it when I was 8 in the discount bin after begging my mom to buy it. I've probably beaten it 15 times. I replayed it a couple years back, I still have the CD so I should probably find a way to make it work on win7. Skip to like 1:00.

[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f4/Unrealtournament.jpg[/t] Is this considered a hidden gem? I know that a decent amount of people know about it and it's gotten some sequels, but it doesn't seem to be as well known as Duke Nukem or Doom, though that might just be me.

I did not have many PlayStation 1 games. Only reason why is because 2 months of owning the damn thing I poured ketchup into the disc try and then turned it on. (I was only 3 years old.) Aside from that, I remember playing this game quite a bit with my Father. Also, did anyone else here thought they could play 2 video games at once by putting in 2 games inside the disc tray? Tried doing that when I was 4 years old with my PS2. Broke my Jak and Daxter disc in the process. :v:

Fantastic platforming, but the third act of the game (both the difficulty and the story) just broke me.
Just remembered this one.

[t]http://i.ytimg.com/vi/WFb93anNe4U/maxresdefault.jpg[/t] You didn't fuck around in these mazes. This shit was scary when you went into the 'bad' area.
[/img]
I feel like this needs an updated re-release, because going back to it, the game feels really limited.

Easiest way to describe the game was it was UT's answer to Counterstrike. IMO it was vastly superior, the gameplay was much faster paced and the game itself was way more modular than Counter Strike ever was or ever will be, especially in today's day and age. One of my favorite modifications was Monsterhunt, Counter terrorists and Terrorists worked together to fight waves of monsters from the original Unreal series.
Glad I'm not the only one who thought it was better than Counterstrike (1.6 atleast), I used to play this shit all the time as a kid and it was the only game I could play when I somehow fried my motherboard. Think I'll start playing it again actually

Fuck, I miss that game.
This gem was so hidden, that I had trouble finding a good cover. Also I thought the cover was quiet inaccurate the the actual characters ingame; I think they used the DreamWorks smile to trick me.
