The thing I like about Naruto is that the characters are pretty varied and interesting, and have pretty cool and unique powers (Kimimaro, Itachi, etc) but it just takes so long to get anything done that it's just not worth watching the show.
Broken Bond also ended on a cliffhanger, and that always pisses me off.
