• How do you feel about death?

I am fine with death as long as 1. I don't die painfully and 2. I am able to see my family in some afterlife meetings of dead people
I assure you number 2 won't happen
when im near death, i'll make a spaceship and crash into the Eye of terror, in hoping I go into Slaanesh's castle.
Shit happen people die, i'd rather be dead than be a helpless old man though.
Not worried at all, it's not like I'll notice myself die because I will cease to exist.
I hope after you die, you won't have to worry about money, love, and health.
I'm a very impulsive person. I do things without much concern. With such a short life span, I think it's foolish to spend your live transferring calls or whatever your doing. I plan to see every wonder of the world, eat many cuisines, have lots of sex, try many different things. I plan to see the Coral Reef in Australia as it's dissapearing. I plan to fly over Gran Canyon. I plan to walk much of the Chinese wall. I plan to have offspring with a mate that I will stay with for a long time. I'm not gonna let any religion restrict me, I'll live fully with little concern for my health. I will drink lots of beer because I think it tastes good and it makes me social. I will eat lots of candy because it's so sweet. Life is to short man.. And party hard of course.
I'm not afraid of death. Why should I be afraid of death?
Get out of here atheists. All you do is make me feel terrible, regardless of it being the "Logical" Thing to think. Anyway: I'm terrified of death. I believe in the multiverse theory though, and thus I believe in the aspect that there could be an afterlife. You see, if the multiverse theory is correct, then anything that is possible or impossible exists. So, technically, if the multiverse theory is proven, everything is proven.
I feel really comfortable around the topic of death. I, as a militant atheist, think that death will be just like it was before you were born (like mentioned earlier in this thread). I have no problem accepting that I will simply cease to exist. However, I can see why people would think otherwise about death. Most humans are egoistic fuckheads who can't really accept that they will be "gone". They can't accept that the world will go on without them. Well, I don't really know what death will be like, but like I said, I think it will be like before you were born. It will be like not existing.
I hope after you die, you won't have to worry about money, love, and health.
Nope. It's like you get hit by a bus, and god is waking you up, slapping you in the face asking for the rent, then he takes your girlfriend/wife and breaks one of your legs. Just make sure you lived life to the fullest, so you have no regrets in case you die of a long illness with a deathbed etc.
i eat death for breakfest!

What are you going to do to try and stop it? It happens. It sucks, but it is a mixed blessing. Hitler died, good. Good people die, :saddowns:.
Death... We could survive without it couldn't right? Right?
I want to die fighting in a war.
Trust me, you don't. Getting limbs blown off to slowly bleed to death in massive pain is not what you are after.
Sure, death is something I am not exactly looking forward to. In fact, you can kinda say it's something for some reason I cannot shake off, and find it strange that everyone else can be so calm in its mention. Let's take an atheist approach first, they concept that when we die, well, that's it. Nothing, that's great to look forward to. True that you can't really experience being dead, and it is an eventuality, but how is it that people can take the absolute end of their existence so lightly? It's not like you are truly immortal through fame or your actions, but your name is remembered, but as a living being, you are dead. You cannot live via the thoughts of others, and the very thought of that fact always sends shivers down my spine. If it is the comfort of knowing that it is an eventuality, and that everyone will have to die one day, then is it the simple human trait that allows us to be apathetic to even one of the most important aspects of life? Or am I just fucking mental and rambling to myself again?
I dont REALLY scared of it but it will be like before i was born i think so , i will feel nothing and everything i will see is black colour :geno:
Eh, we'll all die someday, the least we could do is to die with honor [editline]03:13PM[/editline] FREEEEEEDOOOOOOOOooooooommmm...
I haven't been raised religiously, but my parents have always told me that there was a heaven. Lately, I've been thinking a bit more about it, and now I'm quite convinced there is no heaven. While I am okay with there not being a heaven, and that my conscience just fades into oblivion, it does scare me at times that sometime, I will not be able to remember anything I have ever done, not be able to experience anything. I was a little down about this for a while, but then I just decided that being down about it isn't going to help anyone, so I started socializing a bit more, and doing stuff with friends, it helped.
Everybody die so i dont care.
I am not afraid of death, we all die someday. Instead of living in fear of what's to come I can live in the moment and cherish every day that I have left. well you know you die and then you're dead
Why should anyone give a shit?
Once you're oficially daid - No brain function, no heart beat, you shat your pants, and you're not breathing - You see nothing, you feel nothing, you hear, smell, and taste nothing - And most of all, you think nothing. Death is simple as that.
I say fuck you death.
We're all gonna die. Eventually. So fuck it and live life.
I dont wanna die. I'm gonna go against the flow and say that I'm afraid of death and afraid of dying. And I'm gonna try to be witty and say "Well I hope this server has respawn!" ... Well I hope this server has respawn!
I'd post "Well come on, explain some things like ghosts, near-death experiences, astral travelling..." But I would be showered with bad ratings and be labelled as an over-religious fuck.
