When I think about death I go all cold and sort of panic for a few minuites.
I personally believe in reincarnation and karma - if you lead a good life then you'll come back again as a better person. :)

Why wouldn't he just make us perfect. Oh yea, because he's an asshole, and we are his playthings.
Everybody dies. Religion was made by people who were afraid of dying, so they needed to think they would be protected somehow. We aren't divine creatures. We are meat bags with developed intelligence. If, lets say, crocodiles developed great intelligence, they would also create a religion, because they grew self conscious and self aware, and realize they are going to die, and are afraid.
Religion is just that. The product of the humans fear.

Religion wasn't by people afraid of dying, death was just added to the mix of people getting power from it.
Imagine, if you knew only the basics, and I said I knew about the afterlife and how you should live, then I'd get power wouldn't I?

The reason your mind think the Earth is perfect and Jupiter isn't the perfect creation of god is because you are human. Basically:
1. Human sees amazing thing;
2. Human can't explain how that amazing thing was created;
3. Human says it was god who created it because he lacks the knowledge to understand.
