Did therapy help a shit load? Do you think you would of obeyed waltz if you didn't go? Did your therapist know that waltz tells you to kill?
Helped a little.
No.
Yes, he does.
Do you still go to therapy?
Do you still go to therapy?
Obviously, but it should only last one more year.
I just asked a friend of mine who told me some time ago that she had the same kind of "problems". She said she had a part of her mind that she could talk to (much like Waltz, only this part of her didn't have his own name and wasn't homicidal). She describes it as talking to a mirror. Her "reflection" would look like herself if only a tad more aggresive at times. She could do some neat things with her reflection. Things as asking it to remember stuff she had forgotten so many months ago. Or citing entire pages of a book she raid a week before.
Although it sounded quite useful to me she got rid of it through years of therapy (or so she says).
Does any of that (save for the "tad more aggresive" part) sound familiar to you?
Can you please explain what a normal therapy session is like?

I go to the shrink, we talk about my last two weeks after the last meeting for 45 minutes and then leave. Once in a while he suggests some kind of test; I was the one requesting them since I'm utterly fascinated by my results in stuff like that. He said they're by no means necessary, but agreed to get me a few.

Sounds somewhat similar although there are differences. From what I can gather, your friend could access the other part and that it was behind a medium, in this case a mirror. It also looked like her and was presumably co-operative albeit aggressive.
I have no mediums, Waltz is co-operative when Hell freezes over and looks nothing like me.
Sometimes it's clothing reminds me of Avril Lavigne, though. No idea why, I don't really like the singer.
Edit:
Actually, Waltz does remind me of things I forgot like essays but only before the class begins to taunt me for being so forgetful.
It almost never does things to help me, more like it "helps" me to add insult to injury.
did any of the people you told think you were crazy at first or lying?
did any of the people you told think you were crazy at first or lying?
The closest response I've gotten is
"Wait, really?"
After I assured him that I was serious he didn't ask again.

Read the thread people. Some of these questions have already been answered.
Has your violent personality ever gotten close to getting you to kill someone?
45 seconds of looking.
I know that earlier in the thread you said it was something that happened in your childhood that caused this, but do you know and could you tell us exactly what traumatic/stressful event you experienced that you think caused this?
I'm very interested in how certain experiences in peoples lives can dramatically shape them as a person. I've recently been looking for things in my past that I think have caused things about me such as Obsessive Compulsions, occasional Intrusive Thoughts, Depression and some Social Phobias.

I was driven out of my home multiple times by a drunkard.
And no, he wasn't even related to me. The guy was my step-father, if I even can accept such a name for him.
Not to mention mentally harassed, bullied, oppressed, kept in hunger at times and forced to work out every evening even if I didn't want to.
That answer your question?
Would waltz "agree" to leave you alone if you became more self reliant?
This is all very interesting. I think the metaphor you're looking for, one that I use a lot when discussing the Human mind, is the computer metaphor:
In this case, from what I've read and gathered, your body is like a computer and your consciousness the OS. This makes each personality a separate user. Now, in your case, you've got a multi-session setup; both users can be active at the same time, but, also in this case, only one of them has write access to (most of) the hardware at a time, leaving the other user only able to see what the hardware is doing until said user somehow gains control of it.
Is this accurate? Also, how much does Waltz interfere with your academic life? Do you find it hard to concentrate sometimes because he won't shutup?
If you tried to harm yourself, do you think Waltz would be able to stop you? Has that kind of thing happened before?
Sorry if this's been answered before, I swear I'm reading every page in this thread, there's just a lot going on in here.
Do you ever worry about waltz taking control and you not being able to stop it?
-snip I'm a moron-
Do you feel an odd bond between your other personality?
If you were to become intoxicated, would Waltz be affected as well (i.e. thought patterns, speech, etc.)?
If you were to become intoxicated, would Waltz be affected as well (i.e. thought patterns, speech, etc.)?
Using earlier posts as a guide, I'd say yes.

Yes.

Yes. I tried to slit my throat with a kitchen knife and he took over, put the knife back in the drawer and walked into bed. Fell asleep, woke up and felt like an idiot.
This was back when the depressing personality was present as well, it really took me that far.

I only read this quickly, but it sounds somewhat right. Although the users can communicate with each other as well.
It was only a problem with my studies when it's constant blabbering was combined with the seeping depression created by the other personality. Alone it's little difficulty during a regular school day and once in a blue moon it's actually helpful, finding a missing piece of a puzzle that I can't notice at first.
Would waltz "agree" to leave you alone if you became more self reliant?
No idea, I certainly hope that to be true.
Is Waltz afraid that you'll be able to eventually erase her via the therapy like you did with the depressed personality? I'm pretty sure I can guess the answer though.
Oh and also, was erasing the depressed guy a slow process or did he go suddenly? How did Waltz react to him going if not with fear?
Is Waltz a bit touchy on any certain subjects, say, the causes to the depression he/she was born out of?
Does Waltz have a different social life?
Does Waltz ever get on the internet?
[sp] The name is waltz right [/sp]

Different social life...well, unlike me he's a dick to everyone.
Is Waltz a bit touchy on any certain subjects, say, the causes to the depression he/she was born out of?
No, that's one of the most annoying traits. It's so god damned self-confident you can't really dent it with anything.

Well, it started to get less depressive first but then it just kind of...vanished. So it's a little A, little B in this case.
If you were to become intoxicated, would Waltz be affected as well (i.e. thought patterns, speech, etc.)?
The only change I noticed the first time I ever got drunk was that it got more aggressive whereas I just got more talkative.
Hypothetically what rights does Waltz have, is it a conscious ...'thing' I mean it has self awareness so is it an advance lifeform in someways? should it be treated like a computer with advanced A.I, wich would mean it knows of its own existence-and if so does it have the right to life? It certainly has no right to be in your head but if you force it out do you ineffect kill Waltz. Would that be considerd murder of an intelligent allbeit psychopathic being?
I know im just clutching at straws here and you most likely think of waltz as some sort of parasite that takes on human forms than anything else, but I'd still like to hear your thoughts on what rights, if any Waltz has.
;34878807']The only change I noticed the first time I ever got drunk was that it got more aggressive whereas I just got more talkative.
Waltz geting more aggressive sounds impossible, And bad.
Are you Two-Face?
Have you ever considered applying for a job with federal law enforcement, and letting Waltz work her magic? Or is it far too violent/uncontrollable?
