Hows the internet over there?
I don't research the actual speed (because I don't know how to), but it's shit. It loads things fast, but downloading is like when time stops.

Would you die for shock if you'd ever see snow?
Would you die for shock if you'd ever see snow?
We get snow. We actually a have a fair amount of ski resorts considering the climate of Australia (Thredbo and Perisher being probably the biggest two).
What cities do you recommend visiting besides Canberra/Sydney/Melbourne?
What cities do you recommend visiting besides Canberra/Sydney/Melbourne?
Brisbane is a big tourist spot, lots of beaches and theme parks and stuff. Adelaide is nice but quiet. Perth is the most isolated major city in the world, and boring.
What cities do you recommend visiting besides Canberra/Sydney/Melbourne?
Don't visit Canberra.
What cities do you recommend visiting besides Canberra/Sydney/Melbourne?
Don't come to Perth just yet, the city is undergoing some pretty huge redevelopment to look all futuristic and shit, I think it's scheduled for completion by 2016 though I can't quite remember. However some article put Perth in the top ten of cities to visit in 2014 so maybe it'll be alright to visit now. [editline]19th January 2014[/editline]
Would you die for shock if you'd ever see snow?
I've been snowboarding over east in Victoria and I didn't die so I guess not. [editline]19th January 2014[/editline] But if you do come to Perth, make sure you have a massive drive down the coast from Exmouth down to Esperance and go to as many beaches as you can.
Who thought this thread was a good idea?
Are you proud of having a british heritage?
Who thought this thread was a good idea?
The OP. Anyways, making a thread in style like this but about some country which people isn't that active around internet would be more interesting, for example Spain or Poland.
We'll I'm the one who made the thread so I guess I did. The idea came from someone in the STGYM thread (I forgot who, sorry!) So I guess it was them.
Are you proud of having a british heritage?
No.
What's the australian drug scene like?
We get snow. We actually a have a fair amount of ski resorts considering the climate of Australia (Thredbo and Perisher being probably the biggest two).
Except it's cheaper to fly to New Zealand and go to the snow there than it is to go Thredbo or Perisher..
What's the australian drug scene like?
Party drugs like ecstasy and coke are pretty popular over here, even though they're expensive as shit. Mushrooms are pretty easy to get when they're in season but other hallucinogens are hard to find. Surprisingly the fastest growing drug in use is steroids, a bunch of criminal gangs which would usually shift pills or meth are moving onto steroids cause tons of people want to get roided up.
What's the australian drug scene like?
Huge. Not just in narcotics too, my brother and his friends get offered steroids pretty frequently at the places they work at. also, The only good reason a tourist should visit WA would be for the outback or if they like trees and scenery etc, we have some pretty places. Or the coffee that's so expensive you can pay for it in BTC.
Are you proud of having a british heritage?
Who says we all originated from Britain
do you have to use a translator so your text is right side up?
Are you proud of having a british heritage?
I have a Celtic (Breton), Jersaise (channel island of jersey), German and Italian background mate, a lot of the Brit heritage people are in NSW I think, a lot of people with German heritage in Adelaide and the rest I wouldn't have a clue
What cities do you recommend visiting besides Canberra/Sydney/Melbourne?
Gold Coast. Whatever you do, do not come to Perth. It's an absolute shithole, which is absurdly expensive and there is nothing to do.
Hows the internet over there?
24Mbit down (I actually get this) with 250GB of downloads, unlimited weekends and on holidays like Easter, Christmas. $70 a month.
Noice, I get 500gb at 20mbit/ps, fetch tv and unlimited phone calls for $100 or so from optus, who are you on?
Amnet, a Perth company. We could get bonuses like that, but we wouldn't use it anyway. For $100 we could get 1TB and unlimited weekends and such, but not even I can use that much in a month.
Don't visit Canberra.
Canberra ain't so bad. I thought it was a shithole as well but after going down there a few times it has grown on me. Plus the National gallery of Australia gets all the good art exhibitions so I have to go there if I want to see stuff
