Only seen that movie once and that was back when it was released, had to read up on imdb what it was about :v: It's incredibly hard to actually measure intelligence, IQ tests usually are only about having a good sense of logic which you learn early on in school.

You really have to dwelve deeper into beign more inclined for that task. They weren't influenced to dislike those topics, they were just repressed to not try to pursue anything beyond getting married to a man.
