I once called 911 in the middle of traffic at an intersection where I live. A woman in a car in the lane next to us waved at us and told us to call 911. When I asked why she held up her hand (which was wrapped in a blood soaked towel) and said she had cut her finger off. As I began to dial I told them to pull over to the side so emergency services could reach them, but before I could finish what I was saying the light turned green and they sped off the hospital.
I hope she got her finger reattached. :ohdear:
I had to.
My friend and I where in a car crash, the other car smashed into us and knocked us down a hill.
I had a fractured tibia and several broken ribs, while he was unconscious and not responding.
The jerks who hit us ran from the scene, still haven't found out who it was.
I called 999 when I was little without realizing
the police came over and my Mum had all her weed out and had to hide it quickly, they didn't notice it and quickly left.
I never did, but once we smelled smoke from our smokes, seemed like it came from outside, there was a car on our street on fire and my sister called. Another time (like 4 years later I think) we heard an explosion, it seemed pretty close so we looked outside, another car burning. Was pretty scary, some other car was parked next to the burning car, and the owner of that car (the one parked next to the burning one) got in his car and put it else where. Everyone got scared because they thought the car might explode (it was burning for quite a while). My sister called 911 again though
One time I went to fitness with a friend of mine, I went there by bicycle. When I cycled back, it was already dark. A little further I saw a guy looking through a house window. As I got closed, he tried to pick the lock I think. I wanted to dial 112 but I didn't bring my cellphone. The guy might've been trying to open his own frontdoor though, the street was pretty open and he didn't even notice a few cars and me.
Plenty of times actually, but im a Fire Fighter so naturally I know when to call. On average, I end up calling 911 about three or four times a year for wrecks that I come up on or am reporting first on scene. Don't be afraid to call, they are just normal people on the other end.
Yes, just recently actually. Black people broke into my house WHILE I WAS THERE. Apparently they slid the back door open, took my mom's laptop, and left in a rush. I caught a glimpse of them as they left. My mom and I are still waiting for a call from the detectives to see if they've recovered the laptop.

An old woman called on new years eve, when we (ambulance) showed up she had glasses of sparkling wine and wished us a happy new year :v:
