Nightstick is a steel rod, thicker than the ASP, surrounded with a fiberglass shell. It will knock the absolute piss out of someone WAY better than an ASP
Now days though, with this younger By the Book No Discretion generation of police, they don't use the sticks or ASPs like they used to. In the 80's they were used to absolutely beat the fuck out of someone, especially if they were resisting arrest. Now you have to be in a struggle, and you have to start with Verbal Commands, before you move to Pepper Spray before you go to ASP/Nighstick before you go to Tazer before you go to Gun, and in court, you have to explain the reason you went from one to the other or skipped one and it's just a bunch of bullshit. Police almost can't police anymore
But a Nightstick will bust a head open much better than an ASP
