I really like this thread, so I thought I'd contribute with something unorthodox - three photos from my mountain hikes. They aren't anything special, but I hope you'll still like them.

A salamander my friend and I rescued from a whirlpool (yes, I'm aware they can swim, but it couldn't get out of there)
