Actually, the name Justizzentrum suggests that it is a building for some legislation department, german prisons usually don't have that name. But there are prisons that aren't half bad.

Austria. Nothing particularly cool or phenomenal about this, but I liked the way it looks.
The one hundred day tow began; American Star and Neftegaz 67 entered a thunderstorm in the Atlantic. The tow lines broke and six or more men were sent aboard American Star to reattach the emergency tow lines. This proved unsuccessful. The ship was left adrift. On January 18, the ship ran aground off the west coast of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. In April 2007 the starboard side finally collapsed causing the wreck to break in half and fall into the sea. Since then, what little remained has been slowly disappearing beneath the waves. As of February 2012, only a few feet of the ship remains above the water.
Also, each building has a different shape (circle, triangle and square) and the intersection next to it looks like an X, so the whole thing looks like a shrine to the gods of Playstation from above
does anyone have that tesla and edison comparison pic?
does anyone have that tesla and edison comparison pic?
I'm just going to link it since it is already in this thread. http://theoatmeal.com/comics/tesla
that's pretty creepy actually.
I could totally see the potential of some dead zombie horror residentevil-esque movie or game based on that boat itself.
Batman stuff.
What I dislike about this is the fact that it includes the 600 million dollar cost to rebuild the estate. If it didn't include that it would make the amount of money in it much more reasonable.

Due to differing density.
Are you sure that's not just the tide? It happens like that where I live, but where I live there's man-made passes that connect the bay to the ocean, so when the tide comes in, it pushes the murky bay water back up into the bay, sometimes enough that even the bay gets clear, and the ocean gets crystal clear, and when the tide goes out, it brings all that nasty murky water back out with it. But you can clearly see, on occasion, a distinct line, with foam, out in the water separating clear and murky water

Due to differing density.
kinda reminds me of the pass in Destin, Florida. Where this disgusting brown bay water meets the sapphire blue ocean water. I can't find any pictures, but if you go to google earth and look up "Destin, Florida", you can look at the bay and see it. I used to live there and it was pretty cool to wake up at 4 in the morning to go fishing and ride across the line as the sun was coming up.
batman stuff
"retinal protection system" lol
To the Batman stuff: Why does the cowl cost so fucking much?
