D'awwwwwwww!
I've always wanted a domesticated fox.
But I can't decide between that or a Siberian Husky. :C

The statistic that 50% of people have a mental disorder at some point during their life freaks me out. That doesn't seem natural.

I think that most of what was happening occurred [sp]in his imagination[/sp].

Remember, that include depression and stress. The "serious" crazy stuff is much less common.
First (functional) hot-air balloon design

The first manned hot-air balloon was displayed in Lisbon in 1709. It managed to lift 3 stories off the ground before collapsing and falling out of the air. The inventor was later charged with Wizardry and persecuted by the Spanish Inquisition (however unconfirmed).

I am reading the book from Jose Saramago about that right now, it's REALLY awesome.

I doubt this. The turn kicks in way to late. When you do a kickflip you start it when you start jumping.
This looks like he made an ollie and then somehow hit the bord with his toetips to make it turn .

The interesting thing about this is that as opposed to what you'd think, the feathers are actually not that colour in a traditional sense but rather create the colour through interference and that is why the birds will look absolutely different even if you just move the slightest bit.

And to post something original:

These are tame foxes that are breeded to be tame and human friendly for many generations.
The amazing stuff: They were chosen to breed solely by their behaviour, yet they started showing the looks of dogs shortly after, hanging ears and tails, bigger eyes, more fluffy.
The downside: They also breed very agressive foxes.

It's a late kickflip

(Nollie version)
Skateboarding fucking fascinates me when you see it that slow, the amount of dexterity it takes to pull off some of these tricks is insane... and they make it looks so easy.
does anybody have that picture of these army guys threatening a person, but it the picture turns about to be cropped? i need it for a project coming up next month.
Done!
sorry, i should have specified that in one cropped version it looked like they were threatening the guy at gunpoint, but at the other cropped version, it looked like they were giving him water i think, and then it shows the full picture.
I'd say it was a regular kickflip, just popped then flicked, so it comes up exactly level to the feet.
Don't know if late, still cool.
