It's easier if you blow the candle out in one quick puff so the smoke is more even, but yes it's possible and you can use matches instead of a lighter if you want.

The prototypes are hand-painted and crafted with the utmost care for the expo. Unless available in the most limited of quantities, the final products will have to be machine-manufactured and machine-painted.
