My favorite part in either season were the military operations. I'd have been perfectly OK with the original Lancelot and the original Guren MK2 being the only superfancy mechs on the field.

That's the reason why I hated the leap, the operations were probably the best parts, but that all changed when one soldier in an knightmare can be compared to a simple jet fighter fighting godzilla in S2, it's pointless.
