When movies use CGI instead of practical effects, and it looks like shit
tried making plans with a friend i haven't seen in awhile, being kinda pushy about us hanging out but not really, i tell him to let me know what time i should come down today, and he says "okay cool will do", but yet, i just know that he won't text me back. i hate being alone on the weekends, and i always am alone on the weekends.
It is hard to for me to put weight on. I am to damn skinny, even when I do some sports and even eat a shitton. Even if I had like a few lazy weeks where am I basically just eating and doing nothing serious. I keep loosing weight.

I think it is related to my diet. I eat quite unregularly and not many things that have calories, it depends. But it is annoying, I feel like some anorexic girl. Even though I love food.

Yeah I guess, as long I stay sane and love food. I feel alright.
Live my lifestyle for a week. Once you go fat, you never go back.
Eat a fuck load of pasta or something. One of the reasons why I gained weight again. I was always so skinny. Like, 40 KG at 164 CM.
When you already have shit sorted out, but you still can't stop thinking about it.

You know what gets me mad? YouTube keeps recommending me PewDiePie. First of all: I have no idea why does it think that I might like him. Secondly: I already blocked him... YouTube, that was supposed to be a hint.
I hate when people pronounce words incorrectly. Like some people say matoor, instead of mature.
Ma-too-er
I have the exact opposite problem. I gain too much weight and can't lose it.
That sucks, I guess both have advantages and disadvantages.
When movies use CGI instead of practical effects, and it looks like shit
The Walking Dead has such fantastic zombie make-up and gore effects but sometimes they use digital blood and it REALLY shows Shit looks awful man
I've noticed that AlexGT, one of my steam friends, hasn't been online for 10 days. I hope nothing bad has happened to him.
When CGI is painfully noticable in a movie, and it pulls me out. Like for example, in the Avengers, (and yes I know the movie is jam packed with cgi but this bothered me the most) whenever I see The Hulk standing next to regular people, he's so distractingly made in a computer I can't help but get pulled out of it a little.
See, I see CGI as a great TOOL. It can work BRILLIANTLY if used WELL. But few people use it well. For example, Hugo Weaving's makeup in Captain America. It was all practical, and they CG'd out his nose. It looked SEAMLESS. Or Jurassic Park. Whenever the dinosaurs needed to do something vigorous that simply could NOT be done with animatronics, they used CG (this movie was made 20 years ago, the only effect that has aged is the Galimimuses jumping over the log). Use models, animatronics, and puppets for anything close-up or involving slow, simple movements. Use CGI for far-away shots and things that cannot be done with practical effects. Put the two together and you get utter gold.
How is this dumb what
Maybe because you said that the LotR movies are the only movies that ever did CGI right.

I don't like when I find an awesome show on Netflix and watch all of the episodes in three days. Man, I really need to quit doing that.
I don't like when I find an awesome show on Netflix and watch all of the episodes in three days. Man, I really need to quit doing that.
The same happens to me a lot, except in one day.
My mom just ran off because my dad bought me a very nice car and shes afraid that my brother is going to be upset. My dad told my brother at the start of the year that if he passed all his classes this year he would but him a brand new mustang. My brother only passed one class this semester, it's his fault he's not going to get a mustang, I don't see why my mom's upset to. [editline]10th November 2012[/editline] Oh great she just got back and now shes yelling at my dad. What a dumb argument.
Hey, you have a nice car now.
I know I'm really happy about that but I'm just really mad at my mom right now. It seems like she always try's to make my dad feel like shit and I feel so bad for him. Especially when he's just trying to give us something that he didn't have when he was a kid.
Installing DayZ is fucking impossible. Every time I thing I got it, I get an error saying that one of the DayZ files requires something from the Private Military Company add-on for Arma 2.
I should have made it more clear and said the only movie I've seen that did CGI right. Again, it's an opinion thing. I think Jurassic Park did it well too, but here's something that kind of confuses me: is it just me, or are CGI effects getting worse before they're getting better? For example, look at this scene from Jurassic Park: Now keep in mind, this scene is almost fucking twenty years old. Now look at this scene from The Avengers, 19 years later. Like, why can't we be as good as we were in 1993? I know that Jurassic Park had a huge budget, but we've made bigger movies before. Why are we so restricted?
IMO, the Hulk looked REALLY good in Avengers. I mean, not T-Rex good, every shot he was in was broad daylight, but compared to the CGI in the previous Hulk movies, I thought it looked damn good. [editline]10th November 2012[/editline] I think a better example of "CGI that isn't as good as it was 20 years ago" is something like the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. Hell, the original was ALL done with practical effects. They use CGI for everything in the Platinum Dunes version and they can't even get THAT right.
Some girl in my school apparently diagnosed herself with Aspergers Syndrome, and she also says that I'm a lying asshole for saying that I was actually diagnosed with the condition.
