I've heard that Shaw is shit, but I've always had good experiences with them. I've been trying to convince my parents to switch to Shaw for a long time since I hate Telus. They always email my mom saying that someone is file sharing, which kinda pisses me off that they don't mind their own business, they also provide extremely shitty routers. That being said, we are paying for High Speed Lite, so I assume they will provide you with better equipment and possibly invade your privacy less if you are a higher paying customer.

My insomnia is not helping me with school

As somebody who goes to a Church of England church and somebody who feels part of the family there, I have to say that the Church (capital C) angers me a lot. The whole organisation is just so backward when it comes to doing things for the good of the people within it. (My guess is that money takes priority) It's stupid the way people put their own principles ahead of other people's welfare and happiness, yet still call themselves Christians. It's like they just ignore the fact that they're making decisions about other people's lives. Yesterday there was a vote on whether to allow women to become bishops, but the minority who voted no was slightly too big, so the stupid system we use sided with not changing. One of the lay-ministers (a kind of low-ranking priest who can perform services etc. but isn't the main leader) in our church is a woman and she aspires to being a church leader. But because women were treated like shit 2000 years ago, people have decided that men should still be in charge today. So Eva is allowed to aspire to being a vicar, but no higher; she must always have a man telling her what to do. Bullshit. They think they need to keep solidarity, but don't care about trampling on people's lives.

I overslept and missed the bus to college. MOTHERFUCK.

Thinking about the Church of England being an outdated, self-serving monster, which tramples on people's lives in the name of tradition and solidarity, I did a quick search and realised that I didn't tell you guys about my vicar's most controversial sermon. He gave it about 2 months ago (I think there was some shitstorm going on at the time and I felt it was best to stay quiet) and I thought It was amazing, he handled the subject perfectly. It got some people thinking and it got me angry. It was the way there was applause when they heard she was getting married, but worried muttering when they were told that she wanted to marry someone of the same sex. I was waiting to see how many heads would explode. I've heard that a small number of people have actually left the church and gone elsewhere (Somewhere where the vicars don't turn innocent children into disgusting lesbians!). I suppose it's just people of an older generation, who aren't able to adjust. On the bright side, the majority of people in the church are able to look beyond the stupidity and know that Alice is still the same person that they knew when she lived here and that Chris loves her more than a man could. I suppose the real test comes at Christmas, when they'll be visiting the church together.
