So I'm going as Clark Kent on Halloween. Cool. A lady-friend of mine suggests she dress up as Lois Lane. Fucking sweet. We both note that we have nothing to do on Halloween, so we decide to go see Seven Psychopaths in-costume. Holy shit, awesome. I check the showtimes to find out that Seven Psychopaths is already out of theaters. It was literally in theaters for one week, I shit you not. Okay, maybe Frankenweenie? Nope, the Halloween movie is gone before Halloween. Jesus Christ, Looper? Nope, despite all that acclaim, gone within a month's time. Goddamn, what IS in theaters? Fun-Size, Silent Hill, Chasing Mavericks, and Paranormal Activity 4. [i]Beautiful.[/i] I'm holding out that the theater's website is just fucked up (they posted showtimes for shit like Avengers and Prometheus literally a day or two before they were released), but I'm not gonna hold my breath. There's like a 90% my basement's gonna flood and my powers gonna go out because of Hurricane Sandy. It's mainly because I'm caught in the middle of the hurricane coming from the south, a jet stream is coming in from the east, and a nor'easter is coming from the north.
