When you get right down to it, just about every problem in the world (aside from natural disasters) can be traced to somebody, or some people, dividing the world into two groups: those that matter and those that don't. I really wish that year 11 wasn't so crazy, and more of the exams and controlled assessments were spread out through year 10 too. People who just don't learn. About a month back there was this guy who I had always noticed standing right on the edge of the curb as we wait for the bus, for no discernible reason. He was aware of how stupid what he was doing, as he always ducked and missed those elongated side-mirrors just in time. One day he's standing there minding his own nonsensical and illogical business, flicking through his iPod. SMACK. The dude's on the ground rubbing his head, his glasses busted and his iPod bouncing under the bus, being crushed instantly, as a single old lady offers him a hand up and 10 or so thoroughly amused commuters enjoy a good laugh. I can't really say it makes me mad I guess though, it's pretty exciting to hope for another encounter with the bus mirror.
