Well they aren't entirely wrong about developers using the available power in a different way. The GPUs in the 360 and PS3 are in fact outdated / obsolete in comparison to what's available for PCs now. But they're still very flexible, and developers can of course tailor games for that specific set of hardware.

Elder Scrolls seems to be the only franchise around just now that they're not royally fucking over by watering it down and filling it with bandwagon shitty features to make it more appealing to the mainstream really
Skyrim made me jizz all over the place. I want to play it now. I hate Bethesda shooter games like Wet, and Prey 2. But God damn they make some amazing RPG's. Well, New Vegas was better than Fallout 3 imo. But both were amazing.
