I can't say I have a problem with mlp fans in general but a lot of them seem to be dumbasses anyway so

Now I'm all for gay marriage, but when people call marriage a basic human right it just bothers me a bit. It's a right, but how broad is the term "basic"?
Basic means it's inherent to simply being a human, and nothing should be able to take that right away.
Marriage is something we've made up anyway so to call it a basic right is stupid.
