Why do i think that Valve will stuff Mass Effect 3 with promotional items for Team Fortress 2?
Extended, it can be stupid. I.e., as I said, the people who think morning-after pills are murder. However I have to ask this question: I'm sure that you'll agree that it should be completely morally OK to kill (or "abort", call it what you like) a one-day old blastula (early, early embryo). No remorse for the blastula. However, does the same apply for aborting a 9-month fetus which is otherwise healthy? I'm asking, is it COMPLETELY, 100% scot-free morally? Never mind the woman's rights for a moment. Never mind the implausibility of the situation, how rarely it occurs in real life. I'm asking, does it have WORTH at that age? You see, at SOME point, we have to draw a line, beyond which it is less consciously acceptable to abort. Different people draw it at different points. Some conservatives take it to the foolish extreme. Some don't.
I personally believe that line is when the fetus is at the point where it is capable of self sufficiency. After that, I don't think it's fine. Before that, I see no issue.
I hate going to the beach.
I hate going to the beach.
I hate sand. It's so... sandy. But Padme, you are not sandy! That is why I love you.

You're a fucking ugly bitch. I want to cut off your arms and play around in your blood.
Don't forget to bring a towel.

Looking at the corrupt a wish thread, I wonder if Mon masturbates to a plate of gumbo. [editline]29th June 2011[/editline] Is there a word for his paraphilia, or is he seriously that messed in the head?

The only concern countering this is the thoughts and desires of the unborn fetus.. of which there are few if any.
I decided to get Alice: Madness Returns. After watching the trailer and seeing some gameplay it looked like something that'd be pretty interesting to me. [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFrs5UGB-ns&fmt=37[/hd]
All caught up on Walking Dead. Poor Carl :frown: Also, ask these dudes some questions. http://bobsboneyard.com/site/?p=908
My dumb cat is going to have to get his tail amputated. It's going to cost $1000 to do so. There goes summer.

Might go to LA on the sixth to go to six flags and the Tim Burton exhibit at the LACMA :neckbeard:

I'm just demonstrating that any decent human being should say that a 9-month-developed fetus, bursting to be birthed, would have value. The question is: How much do we value it?

It's a matter for neuroscience to really decide how much they have. Though either way, the mother will always have more.
-snip- Just Facebook being stupid actually.

To use my tired old story, if you knew that Jane's water would break at 7:30 PM today, would 7:29 be too late to abort? And if you say one minute before is too late, what about one day? One week?

im hungry and i need a wank which one is more important
Nobody suggests that we should be able to abort foetuses a week before they're born.
I realize that. But he's saying the mother will always have more value. I'm demonstrating that at some point this becomes incorrect. [editline]29th June 2011[/editline]
im hungry and i need a wank which one is more important
wank, eat semen
I realize that. But he's saying the mother will always have more value. I'm demonstrating that at some point this becomes incorrect.
I disagree. A pregnant mother has had years and years of conscious experience and a rich inner life. A newborn baby has by absolutely any standards, less conscious experience. Obviously there are a million and one other reasons (most importantly, reasons directly related to utility/happiness) why we shouldn't commit infanticide. But absolutely none of the legitimate reasons include the sanctity of life.
Just tuned into True Capitalist Radio http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ghost/2011/06/29/true-capitalist-radio-hosted-by-ghost--episode-119 I heard tin cans flying about and red necks raging. [editline]29th June 2011[/editline] And woodchippers
I met some pretty cool people on Omegle a few hours ago. We're still talking on Skype. I'd say today was a pretty productive day.

[editline]29th June 2011[/editline] today was fun, it's always nice seeing relatives that i don't see too often. we used to get together more often, but things usually change as the years go on.
Lol, even I knew that and I don't know much about computers... You are right about her Zorlok, I bet she would be a great applicant to work at Geek Squad :downs: Tomorrow is BBQ and Rum day. I like that combination.
