Twilight Princess by far.... I'm surprised that one's not even on the list.
Twilight Princess irked me. So many of its items were useless outside of their own dungeon. And can anyone explain to me the appeal of Link to the Past? It looks too plain to be a favorite Zelda title, about as good as, say Oracle of Seasons.
Wind Waker. I love it, being the first game to introduce the current Toon style. There's just something about that goofball cat-eyed hero that just makes me smile. The music was great, the bosses were great, the supporting characters, the enemies, the dungeons.... sailing...everything... ...besides the Triforce fetch quest. Although I really love how they made each item useful even outside of their respective dungeons. Props to them on that. Deku Leaf especially. Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, and the Oracles come after.
Twilight Princess irked me. So many of its items were useless outside of their own dungeon..
This bothered me too. Unless you used them on random enemies for fun, ones like the Ball and Chain, Spinner, etc were useless outside of their respective dungeons.
Twilight Princess. Surprisingly, it was the first one I've played on a main console. The only one I played prior was Link's Awakening DX. I enjoyed Twilight Princesses characters, music and overall atmosphere the best. It may not have been the first to include relationships between characters, but I think it did it the best. Using Link as a role model to the Ordon kids in the beginning acted as a great driving force. In fact, some of my favorite scenes involve Link interacting with his friends. I thought the overall dramatic tone was done very well. Not to mention, Zant may be my favorite boss battle in a Zelda game. I don't know if it's just because it was the first one I actually sat down and played for long periods of time, but i certainly enjoyed this one the best. Although, I certainly appreciate some of the more dramatic parts a lot more now then when I first played through it.
i would have to say Majora's mask is my favorite.
Link to the Past, Wind Waker and Darksiders
The only Zelda game I played is Twilight Princess. I also got a little taste of Ocarina of Time. I'm not a fan of Zelda series. Don't Judge Me!
MM, it was just so depressing but that made it seem more mature and to me better. It was more than just killing the bad guy and saving the princess. It was more about saving the world from this thing that just wants to fuck everything up and makes sure that every living thing dies. Not to mention it uses a lonely kid as it's puppet.
Link to the Past, Wind Waker and Darksiders
I know you said Darksiders as a joke, but real talk, Darksiders 2 is probably the best Zelda game I've played in a while.
I enjoyed Twilight Princess. Currently playing through Link to the Past.
Wind Waker and A Link to the Past. I'd kill for Nintendo to remake for 3DS.
I liked the minish cap best in my opinion
I kinda grew up playing OOT and WW, but I always prefered WW because I got further in it (before my little bro wiped the saves) I played OOT when I was really little and got frustrated and gave up at Jabbu Jabbu's belly. Infact I think I have 2 saves that are that far, oot on n64 and oot on gamecube. I remeber we had MM but I never really played it because there where only 2 saves, one was mums, one was dads.
The original, because I went in blind, not knowing what I was doing (besides killing random goons and diving through some weird dungeon) and had fun with it. I can't really enjoy the others because I'm bad at them.
N64 being the first console I ever had, and OOT being the first game I ever played, I'd naturally have to go with that. But Twilight Princess and Wind Waker were also awesome. You could almost literally get yourself caught up in Nostalgia with Wind Waker, and In TP it was almost as if you were revisiting the same place in another part of its world. TP was very well done, and the art was incredibly gritty, and sharp. Although I still would go for OOT #1, because the atmosphere was amazing. There were lots of side things to do, and lots of different people to talk to who gave you an interesting line of Dialogue. TP will come in second because of the story, and dramatic presentation of the game, where you had all these things tying into a central piece. Chaos in one place of the game seemed to affect another place seamlessly. Also, soundtrack  Wind Waker's #3, mostly because even though it was cool and all with the sailing (Especially when you run into the Giant squid), but most of the areas had little substance, except if you stuck entirely to the main questline. The story to it and the background involving the great flood is horribly tragic and very depressing to me, having been caught up in OOT so long.

One does not simply argue against the OOT soundtrack not being the best. Sorry for the meme reply, but it's true.
My first game ever was the Original Zelda so that already holds a huge place in my heart but I have to say I enjoyed Link to the Past more than any other Zelda game so far. I just can't get into the 3D ones like I got into the originals, it was something about them.
If the Ocarina of Time is outlawed for best soundtrack because it nukes the competition, I'd go with Majora's Mask

Sorry for the meme reply, but it's true.
OoT has one of the best soundtracks ever in a game, but fuck me if WW and MM are not at least on the same level. Personally I'll go with MM. It's sad that this game is so overshadowed by OoT, even though it still has some of the most amazing stories ever in a game.

probably wind waker
My pick on Wind Waker, Twilight Princess is also neat because it feels like playing Wind Waker again (just different looks, but similiar features along with some changed ones) Hope Majora's Mask for 3DS gets ready
Majoras mask. So many good childhood memories.
Phantom Hourglass.
