It's a part of growing up.
Sounds more like possible depression to me.
Only game i've played for the past 2 months is all random all mid in league of legends. I've got a lot of games that I want to play but i literally can't be arsed to even launch them. Games are hard.
I've never been too big into video games, but I'll get absorbed into one now and then.

Games are hard.
The only game I've been religiously playing lately is Madden NFL, it's such a broken game but it's so addicting. My Xbox profile can vouch for this.
I hate Gamebanana's search function. It's fucking garbage and it functions like this: "YOU WANT TO FIND GOOD MAP? HA HA HA! TOO BAD, YOU GET RESULTS ONLY FROM SPRAY SECTION."
It's a part of growing up.
Nah. I don't think I'll ever grow out of video games, but I feel the same way he does. It may be a side effect of depression, like elevate said.
It's a part of growing up.
Prioritising other things is growing up getting no joy from something you usually like is something else
Or I'm just not interested in video games that much :v:
Prioritising other things is growing up getting no joy from something you usually like is something else
Not necessarily. It's possible to just stop enjoying things you used to as you grow older.
Uh....I don't think I feel depressed I feel the same tbh
Not necessarily. It's possible to just stop enjoying things you used to as you grow older.
It's definitely possible to grow out of something, but that doesn't make it just "part of growing up," especially if it's something you still like or want to like, but just can't get into. That's something else entirely, and while I don't want to throw depression around lightly, like others said, not finding joy in something you like is definitely a possible symptom of depression.
Uh....I don't think I feel depressed I feel the same tbh
Thus the use of the word "possible." I suppose you're right though.
Shit maybe I am depressed idfk
Not necessarily. It's possible to just stop enjoying things you used to as you grow older.
Maybe idk sometimes i forget most are here younger than me and don't really know what interests them yet
sometimes i think that but then i remember that i still operate and function like a normal human being afaik
My Dad and Grandma were talking about health insurance, And I thought of a situation where a sovergiern citizen refused an amabulance. "Sir you are crippled and losing alot of blood, we need to get you to the hospital." "I'D LIKE TO INFORM THAT YOU ARE BEING FILMED!" "Sir, I'm going to have to pull you from this debr-" "IM GOING TO TELL YOUR SUPRIVISOR ABOUT THIS!!!"
Shit maybe I am depressed idfk
Monitor your thoughts. Are many of them negative? Do you lack pleasure in your life? I'm no doctor so take what I say with a grain of salt and do your own research, but it's something to consider.

I feel pleasure from time to time but not a whole lot usually when I'm around friends or my girlfriend other than that I don't really feel pleasure that much.

I have that feeling with many things. I'd say it's a symptom of depression. When I get depressed there is absolutely nothing I want to do.

my gp straight up cited my lack of interest in things i used to like as a major symptom, so yeah. but i wouldn't go around saying people are depressed when it does happen because it's not the only factor
Can't believe I forgot about the steam group already! ;^; I'm headin' to chat in a bit.
my gp straight up cited my lack of interest in things i used to like as a major symptom, so yeah. but i wouldn't go around saying people are depressed when it does happen because it's not the only factor
I would definitely mention the possibility but not talk about it as a certainty. Noticing depression early could really help out in the long run.
Day 2 at work. Let off 3 hours early because I'm still a trainee and there were 3 of us on the same job in a smaller store. Wheee? Got some groceries done though so there's that.
